Midi bluetooth keyboard for Caustic ?

Hello.
I'm using caustic on android system with midi keyboard Akai lpk25.
Due to lack of time, I often do it late in the night in bed.

For convenience and energy savings on the phone, I would like to make a midi keyboard change to a wireless (bluetooth). I got used to the akai lpk25, the keyboard is also available in wireless version.
The midi keyboard Akai lpk25 wireless officially does not support android. However, being in the store nice seller showed me a MIDI keyboard akai lpk25 wireless and I was able to connect to the midi keyboard with the application "ble midi connect".I did not want to overuse the patience of the seller, but in the caustic application I could not use the wireless midi keyboard.

Does anyone know if Caustic is capable of handling a midi wireless keyboard. If so, does it make sense and the delays will not be too big?

I understand. However, I do

I understand. However, I do not want to transmit the audio signal to an external source. I need a wireless midi keyboard running under android and a caustic application. I do not want an extra device.

I'm pretty sure that it does not, at least not on Android.

Generally, when using Bluetooth LE MIDI controller, you can expect more latency than over cable.

Everything below Android 8.0 (Oreo) is pretty much unusable with Bluetooth LE MIDI due to inaccurate timing.

Android 8.0 or higher works pretty stable, not stable enough to transmit a MIDI clock, but stable enough for playing drum pads in real-time.

I understand. Actually, I was expecting that there might be midi delays.
Does anyone know how to set up a caustic application to handle a midi wireless keyboard?

I would also like to know if the AKAI Professional LPK25 Wireless  works with Caustic on Android...

I have the same question but

I have the same question but for iOS. I know the lpk 25 wireless supports iOS but does it work with caustic?

Hi everyone, I just acquired

Hi everyone, I just acquired the LPK25 Wireless. Caustic didn't detect it. Using the MIDI Scope midi monitor app (same developer for MIDI+BTLE app), there's midi signal being sent. In this case, I think Caustic has no support for bluetooth yet. Well hopefully this will be added in the next update. Bluetooth midi is certainly useful, eliminating draining of phone/tablet battery using USB OTG.

thanks r41. Are you Android

thanks r41. Are you Android or iOS? Although it probably doesn’t make a difference in this case.

Hi gregsmith, I'm using

Hi gregsmith, I'm using Android. iOS itself does support BLE MIDI but only certain apps works such as Garage Band and few others. Sadly, Caustic doesn't work for both Android and iOS. I never own iOS devices at all.
