Hi there!
First of all you can all calm down, this is NOT another request thread for a caustic synth as a VsT plugin. We definitely had enuogh of those :P This is not really related to Caustic at all, that's why I also ask in the offtopic section.
I really love the Caustic modular and use it more and more, creating sounds that slowly get indistinguishable from the sounds bigger and much more expensive plugins can produce. However, I also use FLStudio often, as I also own some of those bigger plugins and sometimes just like the general workflow. But there are many occasions where I'd just like to have a modular to open and play around with.
So what I want to ask you: Does anyone know one or multiple vst plugins which are comparable to Caustic's modular?
Thanks in advance :)
You can try Mux
http://www.mutools.com/mux-product.html
It's not boxed modules like our MODsynth, but as a lot of toys to play with (you can even insert VST's or other mux sub-modules) and you can build your own interface/control panel (this remind me a certain topic ;-)
Thanks a lot! That looks exactly like what I'm looking for :)

My Soundcloud profile is _dredge_
Interesting. I'll keep these in mind for when I get REAPER to recognize MIDI input from my keyboard (or Stick/GR-33)
if you have fl studio producer edition or better you own the fl studio version of Flowstone anyway ;) it works rather similar to Reaktor. depending on which version you have installed you need to install it first probably :)

I own the Mutools Mux Modular, and it's great, the sound is really BIG.
Another cool modular VST (free) : http://www.g200kg.com/en/software/kamioooka.html

Free is good. I was looking at the ones posted by edgey, xenoplas, and reusenoise, and wondering if there were any that don't cost buckets of dollars.
I think I need to play with the Caustic modular and get a feel for it, before I'm ready to spend dollars on a VSTi plugin.
hmmm.
@stePH well if you own fl studio then flowstone is free ;) the same with reaktor if you own native instruments komplete. those aren't for free of course :D

Free is always good, I use Reaktor, it blows my mind always. But of course, it's not free and I had to sell one child for it but, you know.

Check out Sonigen modular....

Cheers!
Mike, how much did you get for your child? 'Cause I have to change my mixer and still have a son at home :-))
Softtube is releasing one soon that looks interesting. Native instruments have one called reaktor, but it's quite complicated.
Xenoplas, I'm a broke dick who can barely afford REAPER. The only way I had FL Studio was by stealing it on a torrent. And I don't have any children, so selling one isn't an option.
Reaper let's you use it free for a while I think. I posted in another thread about Bitwig 8 track, which is also free, just have to track down a license.
Bitwig will have a full modular editor when 2.0 is released. All internal synths and effects are created with Bitwig's core modular framework.

Haha, thanks guys for your advice! I heard a lot of good things about reactor, maybe it's time to take a closer look. Didn't know it has a modular synth in it, but judging from what I read it has much more powerful functionality.
As I own FLStudio I also have Flowstone, but I've got the feeling that it doesn't like Windows 10 :D
(at least that seems to be the number one reason why vst plugins are not working on my computer)
A lot of those plugins cost quite a bit and I don't have children to sell, but I still got my soul to offer, that should at least give a little discount, I guess.
