Hey Norco, great interjection, love the way you created an ironic deconstruction of this thread by stating its grandure or lack thereof and yet partaking is said discussion. Bravo sir, fine work.

Causticman,I know it's maybe strange but the best way to learn is to listen to this genre again and again.
You can't only learn from other's files...
For example you can listen to a 1h Melbourne Bounce mix, you'll probably have a lot of inspiration.

It's ironic how so many people are eager to make one kind of music. Get out of your comfort zones, before backing yourself into a corner, and find your own style. Originality makes for much better listening than predictability.
I'm my second favorite Caustic musician. Everyone else is first. Without all in this forum my own music would not have progressed so quickly. It's taken a ridiculous amount of time & effort to have completed somewhere around four hundred complete songs. In the process of persistence, I have managed to beat myself at my own game. A while back, someone stated that my music is so original that others cannot remix them. Then, they compared me to Orbital. Because, remixes of their music is few and far between. That was the most flattering thing about my music ever.
Even if I attatched the file for this, which I won't, most people will just copy/paste what I have taught myself... instead of learning for themselves. Making music is more about the journey, not the destination.
I agree with Andy and and even an idiot should understand why. Why be the best at one genre when you can dominate them all while creating a new one but not even knowing pretty much. Unless it's for a popularity thing or you want to be famous which is all good just f****** say it.lol if you're going to be a douchebag do it to the fullest
Check out this weird-ass track I started with that trance gate sample and just kept building on it now it's not the most enjoyable but it's definitely worth a listen and definitely worth taking a look at the caustic file. Enjoy I haven't even put it out yet I don't know if I'm going to
He is an excellent Progressive House DJ and I have seen his name many times on these forums.
