Hotkeys and Shortcuts for the win10 ver of Caustic

So I like to use Caustic on both my Android and my Win10 laptop, often together because they have slightly different strengths but...

What I have yet to discover is how to unlock the secret to keyboard command and hot keys for the win ver. Am I missing the magic button or is the version for windows just like the 'driod thing and no typing?

I'll keep looking but I sure would appreciate a nudge in the way of understanding why ctrl S won't save my song on a laptop.

Since Caustic was designed

Since Caustic was designed for mobile devices, no keyboard shortcuts (as far as I know) were implemented, as mobile phones have no external keyboard (most of the time). While Rej records his tutorials on a computer, you can see him go to menus and click buttons on screen to do these things. While shortcuts would be relatively simple to implement, and make the computer edition much easier to use, the app was designed to be a mobile DAW, not one for computer use specifically.

It says that while the computer version is free, there is no support for it on the download page. Maybe some day Windows, Linux, and Mac can have some shortcuts made, and this could even help mobile users who have bluetooth keyboards (those without one would have the feature, just no access to it). Hope this helps.

Here to beat that dead horse.

Here to beat that dead horse....
devil

What would be most beneficial is to be able to mobile or PC version hit say control or alt and a number on a keyboard to switch from one sequence on the mapper to another while recording.
I have created a lot of extremely organic and complex songs with Caustic as a symphonic musician on several instruments so mapping it into the recording track is daunting and very second guessing.
The best thing I can come up with is to record the audio while screen recording and click to the mixer then back to the synth being orchestrated to create a visual record I can scroll through in a video editor when I've created an emphatic change.
That then goes into the paste recording track and takes a looooong time where as this program really eliminates almost all traditional, timely tactics of all other synths in DAWs.

Caustic has also absolutely slapped my jaw to the floor with it's capabilities.
You can love and swear analog all you like, which I will for guitar and bass, but this is better than having a dozen analog synths and sequencers from the 60's to present. It took me a while to figure out how incredibly diverse the program is, a good 12 months maybe a bit more, but now that I have a firm, all encompassing grip on it holy moly!
