How can i move the time marker?

I noticed when I press play the time marker loops from the beginning. Is possible to drag it at the time frame I want?

Also will the same mechanism apply in the SEQUENCER?

So in the pattern editor you

So in the pattern editor you can't. In the sequencer just tap on the bar numbers.

Sounds like you would benefit from watching the tutorial videos in the documentation tab.

Thanks for the reply. I can't

Thanks for the reply. I can't believe there isn't anyway to move time marker in patter editor. I'm just getting tired of constantly waiting a long time for it to reset...is there a way around this? Thx in advance.

Pattern mode is not linear it

Pattern mode is not linear it's cyclical so there is no notion of time marker on a global scale.

Use the piano roll with the loop bar to do what you want, that is your only hope.

Like Mike and Rob were saying

Like Mike and Rob were saying, you can't loop within a pattern. You can loop in the pattern sequencer. If you look at the file I posted, open up the pattern and play it in pattern mode first. It will play through all 8 measures continuously. Say you wanted to edit the 6th and 7th measure.... play it in song mode and you'll see it loops on the 6th and 7th measure. That's because there's a loop point set in the pattern sequencer. Set and remove that by touching and dragging the timeline. Tap the timeline to move the playback marker. Long press for more options....
