I've been using Caustic for several years now, but one thing I rarely use is the automated controls. The reason is the extreme lack of precision either moving them by hand or trying to move fiddly little dots around on the screen trying to get them to align. For example, I want to automate the stereo panning per note for 108 measures of mostly 8th notes, making sure they pan evenly left and right. The problem is there's no way to make sure they stay equal distance from the center, and it's hard to align them perfectly with the measures (either on touchscreen or a desktop VM). This also applies to any level controls that you want to move then return to the exact same position repeatedly or align to notes (which is possible but annoying).
-increase the number of horizontal grid lines from 5 to 17 (including top and bottom) to allow for more precise alignment
-have a snap to grid toggle to allow rapid alignment of keys
