Updates to complete this masterpiece

As we all know Caustic is an amazing app, yes? But in truth it is a mere few inches away from true stardom! Here are a list of things that I think should be added to Caustic: Audio tracks(song), more Machine racks, more effect racks, Plugin options for things like Serum, Massive, Sylenth Etc for the Desktop/Laptop counterparts, more efficient automation system. This is alot to ask for, yes, but in truth those are most of the things Caustic needs to rival that of things like Fl, Ableton, and Cubase and such. If Rej himself cannot implement these things then I ask, please, make Caustic open source so the community can finish what the developer sought to do.

So you are basically saying

So you are basically saying Rej should make this a desktop DAW that kind of works on a tablet/phone?

Check out FL Studio or FL Mobile.

Seriously? Rival FL Studio and Ableton? VST? Yellow Brick Road?

No, I want it fully

No, I want it fully functional on phones as well just say specifically for plugins it should be especially focused on.

yeah, in time i can see caustic rivaling those giants considering caustic's ease of use and accessibility along with further support

The reason i DONT use FL is becuase the edge Caustic has is the, as i said, accessibility. Kinda like LMMS but better.

No VST support on Android as

No VST support on Android as far as I know. So there won't be any third party synths for Caustic. And seriously, these "give us VST" demands are quite annoying. Every now and then a neophyte appears and instead of reading old threads to find out that (s)he isn't the first one to ask for VST-support this person opens a new thread and begins fantasizing about features (s)he wants in the  future.

That is why I gave up producing music on Android – there hasn't been anything serious since 2014. Caustic, FL Studio Mobile, SunVox and G-Stomper – that is all Android users can have if they want to produce music on their smartphones and tablets. I use Caustic on Windows to sketch up ideas and nothing more. Also I find Caustic's sound, synths and effects quality frustratingly weak and Caustic file browser didn't show more than 1 000 files in a folder on my Android 4.4.2 phone. The only thing I really like is BassLine synth – probably one of the best 303 software clones I have ever tried.

Ok, so you are aware that

Ok, so you are aware that Android and iOS are not x86 based professors and therefore will not support any kind of vst type thing until there is a compact framework for vsts to sit in. This probably will come one day... Just ya know... Not today.

The vst instruments you mentioned even if written natively on a mobile device would likely run like absolutely shite due to how woefully slow a mobile processor is comparatively with a desktop processor.

You can already do songs if you want to, just break the samples up a bit, and it's not by much. This song has 6 vocal samples. 3 verses split into 2...

Is there a template out there

Is there a template out there somewhere for these Caustic Update posts?  They all have the same frame with a slight user flare.

If you want to do music on a mobile device with practically unlimited choices your only real option is iOS. Not trying to start a war here but as things stand these days that’s just a fact.

If you convert the mp3 to wav

If you convert the mp3 to wav you can load it into a pcm as a bunch of chops, when you open the wav you'll see a red line of where it will cut off. Just use that as a guide for your crops, just keep reloading the sample chopping it up as necessary and you can easily do full songs.
