'Bon Iver' Cover Demo

I have been playing and covering some Bon iver tracks on my Acoustic guitar for past few days. But then a thought came to me why not add a little instruments on it. So i decided to do something different from what i usually do in Caustic.

As we are living in the 21st century some important things are available in pocket size now! So i opened this app called 'Caustic 3' (You guys should try this app, will blow you away)cheeky  Jokes apart  and Cutting the story short i decided to do it all on Caustic(dropping the idea of recording acoustic guitar).

I used 2 Pcm, 1 Organ and 1 vocoder and its only a smaller version.

Vocals : I recorded them with Samsung earphones in-built microphone. Added some effects. and recorded all in Vocoder.

P.S You might not like this track if you haven't heard Bon iver before. So don't be mad at me if you don't like the vocals. hahahaha. But Anyways i am without shield now so constructive criticism is welcomed.

Why i did this demo? No specific reason but i just wanted to check how the vocals and everything come out and how this app can be utilised for some other purposes too. But i don't know whether i should do a full version or notfrown  At first i was shy to share this track then thought i shouldn't be shy in sharing stuff with friends!!! Right?

Cool Nishit, nice to hear

Cool Nishit, nice to hear your voice. I like how the tracks posted in show and tell more and more includes imported audio, such as guitar and vocals. I think this will inspire more people to do the same and eventually that may lead to a greater variety of genres made with caustic. Caustic is constantly evolving and the community with it, I like that ;)

@Pan65 : Thanks for listening

@Pan65 : Thanks for listening and your comments! Yes you are absolutely correct i wanted to check how the vocal recording thing comes up. It was handled pretty well, though was not that easy to do but i am happy at the final result. Hopefully the app is going to be utilized for more experiments with vocals and guitar parts. I will email you soon about details on this.

I don't think you can specify

I don't think you can specify the amount in terms of time, it depends on sample rate and resolution. But I made some cheesy vocals on a track by K.Blog and had no problems squeezing in four measures at one take, I think this was a 120 BPM track. That's enough for most songs I think, but it would be nice to be able to record the whole song in one take. But you can do the recording in another program and chop it into pieces that can be imported into caustic.

There is no time limit in

There is no time limit in recording... and as pan65 said you can also record vocals in another software or app, chop it in pieces and load it in Caustic too.

About i-rig i think that is only compatible with i-phones/i-pads.
