This is a piece that I've been working on over a few days. It was fun to make and I'm pretty pleased with the the result! Thanks if you listen!
Love it....great track great sound great groove and mood!...very nice clean production....i can listen to your music and never get tired of it.
It's awesome !! The atmosphere, the way the sound effects ... is an incredibly clean job. Each section has personality and is inexhaustible. Again it is a great job and a large sample resource management.
Dude, you rocked it out again..... second EIPSO Thumbs Up handed out in less than 10 minutes
Thanks for the awsome response everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Wow you impressed me again nice work!
...outstanding! It's full of subtlety, intrigue and mystery.
Sounds amazing as usual mniip. Such a clean and well produced track. It's always fascinating to check out your caustic files, I always learn something new - the Modsynth formant noise-sweep is particularly interesting! Great work
Definitely your best track so far. Downloading the caustic file to have a poke about!

@monkeyy09 Thanks man!
@James Thanks, I agree - The pads, abstract samples and progressiveness is an interesting mixture
@DanSeb Thanks - Yeah, the noise sweep sounds more interesting with gate/formant sweep.
@RobFarley Means alot man! thank you!
So I'm going to have a play with this over the next few days, I apologise in advance for destroying it! I've just gone through and stripped out all the song automation and notes and deleted everything in the sequencer... So... Fresh start eh!
This track is freakin' sick! I love it! Still trying to wrap my head around some of your techniques used (not understanding the modular BUS purpose just yet, for example).

Man that is pro stuff!! There was a young cat complaining about how he couldn't get rid of that "caustic sound" in another one of these forums - tracks like this prove there is no such thing. Also, good job keeping me quite entertained in a genre that doesn't always do it for me!
¿que onda, pachuco?
That young cat should know that every instrument, no matter the cost, has it's "iconic' sound.
I contacted one of the bands I listen to, (Edenbridge) and asked if they used a Kurzweil K2000 on their album 'Shine'. Lanvall responded saying that he did in fact use it on a number of songs. That instrument retailed for between $2,000 & $3,000 depending on configuration when it was released years ago.
Thank you for the comment :)
The purpose of the modular bus was so that I could control a global cutoff filter on 3 tracks exclusively using the machine inputs. (which is better than using an insert filter effect on all 3 tracks say).a Cutoff filter on bass & drums is quite common in this style and sweeping fits well with transitions.
Thanks alot - I agree, there is no caustic sound at all (unless you use default patches and samples haha) I am looking forward to stereo support for sample based synths ...awwwwww yes! ;D
A stunning track Mniip . very inspiring ! & many thanks for the file ....
I'm still trying to visualize all the signal paths from each machine to the master out.
dude you are something else. all your tracks are on a new level of excellence. thoroughly impressed with all of your work!
I N T E R I M / 0 2 (the mixtape) / i02 ep soon
