Does anyone have any tutorial on how to use Modular Synth?
It needs to be in writing because I can not understand the person speaking very well and translate it into my language...(my language is Portuguese)
Grateful ( :
Z
:/ this is the problem ;( as i say, i don't understand the person speaking very well :L so must be a tut in Text form... And captions don't work... I've searched a lot and the ones I found either were just something written and then the video or was either written but very different from what it has in caustic and this confuses a lot ;/
Thnk you anyway (:
Not sure how helpful it will be for you, but you should at least be able to translate it using Chrome. Once you have the basics, try picking a preset apart, as trial and error will work much more than just words. Hope it helps dude.
If it's any consolation, I'm English and the modular tutorial fries my brain.
THANKS A LOT, ALEXEI \o/ You made my day happy :O It's give me a sense on how to start working with modular :D thnk you very much, man!!!
Thnx again Man o/ God Bless you ( :
I translate my language and it worked \o/, not bad but a bit hard to 'put in practice' to me XD i'll try there...Did i ever thank you? Hahaha XD
Haha, I think you mentioned it lol.
Dude, if you bring up the menu in caustic, and click on the "help" tab, there's a manual for the whole app, including a manual for each synth.
If you're struggling to put it into practice. Just load up a preset and start tinkering with the wiring. If it goes wrong, just start again.
It's because I was so excited about the app that I skipped the introduction and did not notice that there was a tutorial :O what a error XD
I tried here but the note does not stop playing I tried to undo everything and do it again but I did not find what is wrong :T
I'll upload the file...
Nevermind XD I forgot about the decay o/ OMG I get a sound :O this is incredible *.*
Thnk you Alexei o/ again XD I will continue to play with the wiring here hehehe'
It's true Uncle Afx, but it's a start (a little weird but it's XD)
Your example sounded (to me) almost like a flute :O Really cool!
And you used few wires O.O niceee!!! Thnx for giving me that lesson either (':
You must try to understand patches that come within the caustic.. just take a look on the other side of the console and check the inputs and outputs. Thats how i learnd the most of the modular synth.. just load two modulars. Load the patch in to one and try to replicate the patch on another . There is 100 presets so you just learn the ones that you like..
There is a specific Caustic tutorial video for the modular synth.
For general knowledge, you can search for "tutorial modular synth", you will find several videos. (Of course, these show real machines.)
I guess you didn't bother to read zinidx's post....

One thing you can do... add a DADSR and run the sound into that. Then you have an output or an inverted output to choose from.
I explored a lot here and found this DADSR and put some 'wires' in it o/ UncleAfx but thnx Anyway ( :
No problem, but I'm not sure if that means you got it, or you gave up. Anyway I played with it a little and made an example.

Haha. No problem man. To me it sounds kindof like an accordion. :)
I can use your preset to try a remake ? (Stereo Love) really sounds like the original Lead *.*

Sure! It's your preset now...
