Actually, I think this is a process that relates more to electricty than audio, specifically for converting ac to dc, but I thought I'd see if I could do it in caustic and whether it would be worth the time.

So I've found a process where I can completely remove either the positive or negative polarity of a sample in the wave editor and included a very basic example. If you look at the waveforms. (Pos, Neg, and Full) and how they play in the oscilloscopes you'll see what I mean.
In this example, I took the exact same file and tweaked each side a bit as well as the full one.
On the pos and neg sides, for each one, I soloed the full sample with either the pos or neg side while editing the loop start and end points, then fine tuned with the cents setting.
In the second mixer rack, I included another split example. Its a four or five step process for each side, but fairly easy to do once you understand. Just not sure how easy it would be to explain. Or whether this is even useful enough to bother.

That's alot of work, using the wave editor and all that. Maybe I'm missing something but wouldn't this have been easier? (See attached)
