My lame attempt at emulating Serum type wavetable synthesis.
Start the song, go to the first PCMSynth and, while the song plays, hold the "Start" button to view the loop editor, should be fairly obvious what's going on. Enjoy the show!
Every sound in the WIP except the percussion comes from the same sample but all 5 "wavetables" have different loop points. Note the use of "slide" notes, notes that don't slide will always force the wavetable to re-trigger the wavetable (no, no ,no... that defeats the purpose).
Advanced mods encouraged. Please!
Oops... missed an automation setting in the intro.

Nice!
Newer and .... uhmm .. *cough*cough* ... fixed file. I kinda forgot to tune the sample, so ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Incidentally, its F3.
Oh, and I squeezed a =^.^= in there, had to get him out of the kitchen, it's Thanksgiving today.

This is wicked. Owners of Serum might be wanting their money back

Why, thank you. I've been trying to get that sound for a few months but just couldn't get the FM stuff quite that smooth. Was playing with the loop editor trying to get sounds out of a cymbal when I noticed the switching of directions in that loop mode using glide notes and a lightbulb went off. A living wavetable. Still a little shocked but super stoked about the possibilities.

I'm not expanding on this. Just some different samples.
They all came out of Caustic machines in the first place. It didn't take very long to do this. It just fell out.
Awesome.

G.Dang! My greatest contribution yet .... coaxing some life into this forum even if just for now. I had hoped if I shook the tree enough a few coconuts might fall out, I never dreamed they would end up being diamonds.
Awesome is right. And a huge thanks guys and gals.
P.S. 50 mb of wavetables:

Ok, just picked my jaw up off the floor. Stunning, and amazing musical application of the looping idiosyncracies (for lack of a better word).

That's what my jaw did :)

Haha! That kicks ass! Mike.... we need a wavetable app. :-)
I was wondering which thread to post this in. Probably best here.
It's a pretty abundant supply of wave table fodder.
It's a rebuild of the original, below. C5 on that one is hard to recreate, even on the original. I'm glad I saved that preset, as is, there and then.

Having some fun with with that thing. :-)

This is also too cool. My poor brain is stil reeling from the possibilities, like taking the osc out of your FLT SEP and replacing them with PCMs with wavetables.... it really is getting nuts but in a good way.

Not sure of this is a, well known, feature of the loop editor. If you use a touch screen, the start and end scroll windows have two resolutions. If you touch and hold anywhere, but one of those windows, you can scroll through longer samples a bit faster, but in detail.

wow... I have no idea How to use this xD
This is voodoo!
My latest track on show and tell
My Soundcloud page
I have a really different approach (which was inspired by this topic).
I will update my case and I'll try to elaborate more once I'll understand more on how it works.
There is one catch for now, I only focused on the wavetable synthesis so this will only have my points on that part only (I know that that synth should have a ton more parts).
^^ So yeah, firstly to piece my words together.
In my mind I envision wavetables as a waveform series. Multiple waveforms that morph between on another creating sound. (Don't know if that is correct)
So with that I did exacty that I morphed between waveforms (not single cycle ones, but some are short ) (from a random sample I had)
And I made a volume transition (Automation) for each of the them in the sequencer, so the sounds wouldn't change that drastically.
Exported the result and loaded it into a separate PCMsynth, then I used the pitch/time from the .WAV editor (a couple of times I raised the samples time BPM control) so that the sample i had (which was in lentgh of 4 beats) would have a higher pitch (4 times was not enough as the gotten result was only a bit accurate on the 7th-8th octaves).
I hope this was not a complete ramble.
