Nothing special here. I just thought I'd demonstrate a different way of creating presets. In the file, I have several machines with everything automated. Start and stop the sequence and maybe you'll find a sound you like.
I'll take a look - sounds intriguing!

Yeah after thinking about it more, I could have made a better example. For one thing it's in pattern mode so whenever you restart it it restarts at the beginning. And for more variation, I could have made them all 8 bars and done the automation at 30bpm, then sped it up to 250...
This is brilliant! Great job!

:) Glad you like it. I was just thinking.... sometimes we box ourselves in by always going for the same knobs and staying within tight parameters. This way blows the lid off the box. :)
Hello,
anickt brought me here, thanks pal!
Took me a moment to figure out how to apply this file, and it is a very good workaround, very clever!
Has anyone learned how to control, step through or snapshot anyone of these random settings?
Thanks, Taz
PS: BiGUPS to UncleAFX for this thoughtful file
No problem man! Glad it works for you. :)
It's not exactly random, but sortof does what you want I think.

I'm sure you're not forgetting you can save presets, but beyond that, I can't imagine what else you might mean...
Sorry I was not clear.
The "randomizer" resets Everytime I press stop. So even if I just so happen to hear a patch I wish to use within the madness, It's washed when I attempt to capture it or even preview it.
Any suggestions? Thank.
Taz.
Ah yeah. I should have made it in song mode then it wouldn't reset. You could arrange those patterns and play it in song mode and it will just resume after stopping. Here's an example with just the sawsynth.

Wasn’t resetting for me in either case but making a song is easy enough.

Ok I will give it a shot, thanks.
