For the more curious ones, you can also use this hidden function to load very short waw files.
Example: build a short white noise burst in the subsynth. fast attack release up to 0.7 sec. You can filter the noise with the same amount of release. export the sample and use it on a drum track... Not a reverb, but it will add it will trigger the sample according to the frequencies in your track.
Mastering is not only excellent at polishing mixes, but it's also a great tool for sound designers.
Sounds awesome, but I can't get it to work either. I can get the effect to load, but when I try loading samples into it, it seems to ignore everything.
Well anyway thanks to this new revelation, I now know what convolution reverb is. :)
I actually have another app that's had it for a while now, but I never understood what it was so I never messed with it. It would definitely be nice to have it in this workflow though.
Btw, in case it might matter, I'm using a Note 9 with Android 9
For what I know, impulse have to be in Wav format, and not too long. I tried some stanges IRs, 11sec long, and this give a nice drone sound, but unusable in a master workflow. You should try with the Voxengo stuff (see previous post), lots of good natural reverbs.
Well on this end I don't have the configuration file at all. So I used your code and pasted it to configuration file of caustic. Just to save the settings. However, app it self is working flawlessly, no bugs, no interruptions, no export and import bugs. Now I am trying to invent a mastering patch that I will use always for all my projects. I didn't say I don't like the way are things now, I am just saying that mastering is not most important part of production, it just plays an important roll in music selling. However I would like to see the BPM detect tool here, and find a root key option, and a spectrum analysis, the most basic one should be enough.
It was a surprise and great pleasure to see Mastering on Google Play. Of course, I bought it and now feel complete :-) It's been a long wait but worthwhile. It was truly an honor of being a beta tester for the Mastering software and look forward to your future projects.

Caustic is an amazing app! One shortcoming that I would love to see patched is support for SFZ soundfonts in the PCMSynth. Many if not most of the soundfonts I'm encountering in the wild are using the newer sfz format and it is a bit tedious to have to convert them to sf2 using a tool like Polyphone.
Any chance this would be planned in a future release?
Hello I have never meet you but I want you to know that I have worked with all kinds of production software and have been producing tracks for over 6 years. i have been making music on a JV 1000 Roland keyboard for 10. I am still a baby. I always learn something new when it comes to music production. that is my life high. I am very pleased with your Caustic dude! its simple and to the point. I am using it for my first album. as it grows so will I and I will always love the thing you are doing. please keep up the good work! I downloaded caustic master for my android phone but i can not seem to find it for windows? am i doing something wrong here lol? hope to use it soon and once again. GREAT Fucking Work brother! peace
Hi and thank you very much for this great application that is Caustic. I use it a lot since 2013 on android and macos!
Is there going to be a mac version of the mastering application?
I'm curious to test what she has in her stomach ;)
WizardOfZot yes the PCMSynth support SFZ soundfonts in caustic just like it support SF2 soundfonts and wav files I know because I got and used SFZ and SF2 filies, the only files that I haven't been able to used is (( FL Studio mobile instruments (.instr, .ZIP) because I don't know how to get it to work, if someone know how to do it some help would be cool
Purchased... Well done... The Convo reverb is a nice touch, if you understand how it works... Alot of 16bit wav impulses will integrate easily... Pssst... You can use Caustic waveform editor to mutilate impulses for some freaky weird stereo.effects...
I am quite speechless, the quality of the compressors inside Mastering is something out of this world...
You can compress the sound all you want and it won't distort (0_0)... How come I haven't noticed this sooner.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, I just bought it off the play store and I am really happy that you are still making updates and have a free version on windows still. CAUSTIC IS THE BEST please dont ever stop updating it <333
What the? That is outrageous. Nice one :)

IR loader in Mastering app
. Summer egg! Thanks Rej.
I suppose we can also load guitar cabs IR's in it.
For the curious ones, you can find some free reverb impulses here: https://www.voxengo.com/impulses/

I added the effect, but I am told that the pulse is not loaded.

Yeah those were the first ones I tried actually. I also figured the AKWF samples should work, but I can't load any of those either. : (
Hmm, indeed it doesn't want to load on my phone either .. lol, awesome eh?
It might be something to do with the 64bit version, that would explain why it works on older devices (most of them are 32bit).
Let me ... fix that....
:) I wasn't worried. Just glad I don't have to trade for an older phone. :)

Well if you want a config file for mastering, try changing your latency settings and that should generate one.
