Keyboard Shortcuts for PC ver.?

Hey guys, it's me again with some basic questions.

Does anyone know if there are anymore keyboard shortcuts other than the ones listed here? https://singlecellsoftware.com/node/3686

I am curious to see whether if there is a way to better my workflow somehow. Is there a way to remap some of the keys by ourselves? To be honest, all I want is a quick way to switch between "SIZE" and the options within "SEL". I mean, I could just click on them easily and it doesn't seem like much, but it would be a really nice QoL improvement.

Also, is there a way to "zoom out"/ get a general overview of all the notes in the key input section while keeping the counts? For example, being able to see eight measures of eighth notes while still able to see the eighth note lines instead of whole note lines? Maybe I'm missing out on something?

And...  is it possible to somehow pause/stop/play using purely a MIDI keyboard? I have those buttons on my MIDI keyboard, but they don't seem to work. Only the pitch does something in caustic though. I tried the CC# input thingy, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

It's not really a pressing issue, but I'm just curious about it since I'm not exactly an expert in this field and I'm hoping to learn more from those which are more familiar with it.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if you'll find

I'm not sure if you'll find this helpful for your zooming question, but I was quite delighted when I found out sizing the window so it's a taller rectangle will let you see more of the piano roll, and also two synths at a time , like if you held your phone normally instead of sideways for the mobile version. It's the only way I use it now on PC

I kinda discovered it by

I kinda discovered it by accident that you can see it vertically when it suddenly flipped to portrait mode on the phone, but never thought to try it on the PC. I just tried it and it doesn't really help me though as I wanna see more horizontally. Would be nice if I can expand another window out within the same caustic file (as I have a dual monitor setup), so I can work simultaneously on the synths and the effects while constantly being able to see one main master page. But since this is built for the phone, I don't think what I have in mind is possible. I'm just grateful that there is a PC ver. that I can work on.

Nevertheless, thanks for the info anyway!

I'm not on crack, but, Would

I'm not on crack, but, Would opening two caustics work at all? And then just keep saving everytime you want to see your updates on the other screen? I used to do that when I was messing around with two keyboards at once, had two keyboards plugged into my laptop and then two caustics open, and when I needed to see the changes I did on one caustic in the other, I'd just save and reload.

Swear I'm not high

Lol, that's a pretty

Lol, that's a pretty interesting proposition, but unfortunately it doesn't really work out for me. The idea is there though, and I think it somehow works out, but having to save and reload on the different caustic windows kinda defeats the purpose of me trying to improve the work flow though as I'd need to take extra steps... if only it's like a live update or something.

Cool idea anyway!

You could experiment with

You could experiment with using a macro program like autohotkey to create your own keyboard shortcuts. You could make a specific keypress send a mouseclick to a specific x,y coordinate on the screen, (or i think even a sequence of clicks). Its not as hard as other software programming to set up, more like making a batch file i guess. Just be aware, if you are a gamer, some videos can detect it as a suspicious program or a cheat.
