How to make the vocality app sounds like in these tracks?

I don't really like to add robotic sound to all my tracks. I know that if I change the dry knob up and the character control all down then I get clean sound without robot in the vocoder, but in this case when I hit the keys on the piano the sound is the same on c3 c#3 d3 d#3 and so on. In pcmsynth the problem is that down from c4 it slows down the pitch and up from c4 it speeds it up, so it also not good. I wonder how these caustic users did this nice vocal sounds.

Especially the vocal in "Happy birthday to me" sounds so good, but I don't know how it was made.

When you use the Vocoder to

When you use the Vocoder to shift the pitch, it will not affect the Dry sound. The only viable option I've found is to try and make the Vocoder effect less robotic sounding.

Here is an example:

If you feel this is adequate for what you desire then let me know and I'll explain how I did it and post an example Caustic file. If you don't really like the sound there's probably no point in spending the time.

Cheers!

Thanks. I never changed the

Thanks. I never changed the polyphony from 8 to 1 before, and I never used the glide. It sounds melodic. Now I completely understand how the vocoder works.

Awesome, don't forget to play

Awesome, don't forget to play with the Sub, Unison and Character, those also help a little with expression. Enjoy!
