Nicely done. Really like the polyrhythm, how the arp weaves thru the rhythm. But needs more melody. Kinda Jan Hammerish, a bit of a departure from some of your other stuff... in a good way.
Needs more melody, the one cool one you added seems like too little, too late (ST ducks from the flying tomatoes) but really, WTF do I know? Obviously subjective. Cheers!
Hi SToons, thank you. Sometimes you have to fight against your tendencies. I think I *might* have a tendency to "over-layer" things so I was actively trying to leave this one more bare, but it's true that once you have gyrating foundation like this, the possibilities for laying melodies over it are endless. Really there is no melody in here at all, even the sawsynth that comes in near the end is just playing a pentatonic scale walking down in steps. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment!
