Hi
Just changed phone and ive noticed that Caustic is no longer in the Play store.
Ive managed to find a demo version but i paid for the full version on my old device.
I have been trying to locate the "key" on my old device and also online but had no success with either.
I can't be the only person this has happened to. Anyone know how to solve this headache?
Thanks
A friend of mine just tried to buy Caustic and it said it wasn't available for his device. My nightmare is that my next phone won't be able to run Caustic. I'd be devastated.

end of line.
Don't know about iOS but for Android:
Try installing a backup app like:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idea.backup.smscontacts
on your old phone.
It allows you to backup up existing apps - after installing, click on Apps icon, Installed tab. It should find both Caustic and the key. Select them then use the Backup button at the bottom.
They will be saved to a folder SmsContactsBackup (in the root directory) in a subfolder "apks". You can copy them via OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox etc. Download them onto the new phone - you should be able to use a file manager or the backup app to install the apk files from the Download folder.
Were you not able not just migrate Caustic and the key when switching phones?

I can still see and download Caustic fine on the Google Play Store on my Samsung Note 20. Maybe its something to do with more modern phones?
It's always good to have an apk file of Caustic stored on your phone just in case this happens.
However, I'm still able to find it on my phone.
If you can't find it, there's always an apk file you can find elsewhere.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions.
Is there a surefire way to know if I have the full version on this phone?
The reason I thought I didn't was because there is no "parent" folder option on here. However, I understand now that this is a general issue on Android 11
I have been using the app on the new device and haven't encountered any other issues other than the parent folder option not being there. However, I am a novice so I don't know for sure.
So is there anything else I could check?
You must check if you can save project files and export the songs to WAV. These essential functions are locked in the demo version, you also need the second app with the unlock key.
Errrrrrr yeah. I can do both of those things.
I feel a bit of a tw&t now for wasting everyone's time. Sorry folks.
