Because Google is forcing me to modify some settings in my account (that have been ok for over ten years), but won't let me do it simply. I need to create a whole new account, transfer all my apps to this new account and then use that instead. But, since I've been publishing on their platform longer than most of their employees, there's some info missing (which didn't exist when I creted the original account) and no one seems to be able to help me.
So what you're seeing is me renaming the account "temporarily" to a different name so that the new account can keep the SingleCellSoftware name.
Meanwhile, I have not received a paycheck from Google in months. This isn't looking good for the future of my apps...
@rej - would you consider using Patreon or some similar service to support your development efforts (as a complement to the app stores)?
I am just a hobbyist, but I really appreciate your work with Caustic. I would like to support it in the future, both to maintain compatibility with newer OS versions, and to support future enhancements on both mobile and desktop.
For instance - I personally would love Caustic to be available as native Linux app, or if it grew the ability to also be used as be VST or similar format (similar to what Propellerheads Reason does).
I think many people using traditional desktop DAWs would appreciate it as well - Caustic could gain many new users that way.
And, if making Caustic Open Source is a future possibility, a Patreon would open up a way to fund continued and future development.
Google play store will not let devices with newer versions of android find/download/buy key through the store for Caustic 3 and Caustic Mastering apps. Looking for old device to see if I can get through there for a different account. Also have a friend who wants to buy but cant access with device
*update: was able to access using old android device and was able. to buy on app store then install to new device. Until this gets fixed Caustic won't have many new customers.

I'm sorry that Google isn't paying you although that's probably because Caustic and your other apps aren't being purchased. I agree with those who say that you could open a Patreon (or a tipee that takes less taxes), to allow you to continue working on your apps, given that from what I understand, you haven't given up on your apps.
I honestly would like to support you because I would like Caustic to be able to evolve. If you can (and if you want) would you make a post in which you describe your situation (even at a not very detailed level)?

While the excitement generated by the GTA VI trailer (officially due this December) is intense, I reckon there are people out there with a fondness for a certain music app who realise the spotting of a Rej could mean Caustic IV is around the corner.
Regards Google not paying-up; there are laws so personally I say sue the b*stards (and claim damages if their failure to pay is causing you hardship in any way, shape or form).
Either way I'll support you in Caustic IV whatever you do (unless it goes subscription because I don't rent software). I never use the mobile version personally, I only use the PC version but purchased the iOS version just to support you. I think you'll find though, that since the release is so long coming that most people by now will have vanished but will keep checking back. I'm quite sure though, that if we see a Caustic IV it'll soon gain traction, especially if you keep up the current system whereby the Desktop and Mobile versions are identical.
As far as I'm aware, this system is unique in the world of DAWs and it's something I think you should run with and take way more seriously when you promote this thing, but either way, best of luck with whatever you decide to do.

Regards Caustic 4, yeah of course we'll see it, at least I reckon so anyway. I read some time back that Rej had started a family and was dealing with a newborn or something like that. He's still alive so at least he survived the newborn thing. Not a parent myself, but from what I hear you can survive anything if you can survive bringing up a newborn. Compared to that I'm guessing Caustic 4 is gonna be a piece of cake!
Yes, a newborn is very hard so i understand. Anyway, a caustic 4 is very different from initial plan of Rej, because his tell me that his will to have release caustic 3.3. But, i how you I hope that Rej will release a caustic 4.

Woah a Rej sighting. I would also support a Patreon. I was very sad to discover that Caustic is broken on my new iPhone.
Still have never found a DAW that let me make full songs and express myself musically in the way Caustic does..
