Yup! Yet another Cheezy 80's Remix, sensitive ears should be protected before starting this "song" ...
super cheeze! great stuff.
You're very brave to put up vocals like that.
LMAO!!!....oh mannnnnnn....definitely reached new heights of cheese there......cheese*cheese*cheese=cubed cheese..i was sitting at a table in a restaurant by myself when i heard it and burst out laughing...agh...embarassing....
...was like a mix of captain sensible and bing crosby...pretty sure this is the type of stuff rej would have had in mind when he designed caustic.....
Ha ha, Yeah If it was a more serious project I would put more effort to the vocals. I was intending to get the vocals right but then I thought that it just added to the cheeze feel the way it was
Thanks Matt, hope I didn't ruin your dinner there.
Here's the lyrics...
CTM (Caustic Time Machine)
It was one of those days with not much to do, so I went to the forum and browsed it through.
I came across a post by the great K.Boog, about a song he made for us to listen to.
It was a strange kind of song with a special twist, the room around me ceased to exist.
A flash of light made the whole world spin, and a portal was opened and sucked me in.
Floating trough this endless dream, where nothing is quite as it seem.
It’s the Caustic time machine.
Moments in a swirling stream, brings back all that’s ever been.
I think I ended up in another time, somewhere behind me there was a sound.
I turned myself around and what did I see, a band performing on the MTV.
It was a song that I remember well, but the guys who played it just looked like hell.
A white dude was rapping; a drum-machine was clapping. On top of that I heard a DX-bell.
The camera view is changing now, zooming in on a dancing crowd.
Kids are bouncing to the pounding beat, faces flushing from their body heat.
Now look at that guy his got funny hair, and the girl over there what does she wear.
The glaring colours hurts my eye, I think this must be 1985.
haha, i absolutely love this song...really clever lyrics...the vocals are perfectly cheesy and very fun.
ha nah...didn't ruin my dinner...made my day..damn funny...
@Pan65 Lmao!!! You couldn't resist huh? I read that you were thinking of doing a remix on Steve's post, but that was a maybe! I Love It! The vocals fit In perfect to make it Cheeze! Reminds me of Rappin Duke! Liking the added bassline too! Great remix man! Soo thats 3 remixes of the Cheeze! And All are Great! Really enjoyed listening to All! Nice job fellas!
oh man! as cheesy as this might be, i love it! the track reminds me of Small Black and Classixx, two bands with huge 80s influence. great job on the lyrics too!
I N T E R I M / 0 2 (the mixtape) / i02 ep soon
I think the current track that is very hot on this website is K.boog's Cheezy 80!!! How many remix's and different versions did we see?
BTW Pan65 : once again we get to hear your vocals. Good track...'Caustic time Machine' was my favorite part and liked the lyrics!
ages ago here in australia there was a show (called 'the money or the gun') where a different version of stairway to heaven was played every week....reggae...opera...bluegrass.....etc......it drove the host mad eventually.....but there were some awesome versions....
...i wonder if something similar could evolve with k. boogs track....wait and see...
Thanks Keith. No I couldn't resist, this song is just too good not having a go with it. The bassline is yours, I just changed the sound and altered note length and velocity to give it some more swing.
Thanks, I was influenced by a lot of songs from the European scene in the 80's. The "rapping" of that time (and place) was more of a melodic spoken thing rather than the rhythmic singing that originated in the streets of USA. The cheeze in the lyrics are really nothing compared to the lyrics they made back then.
Thanks Nishit. I think this is the third remix (fourth counting K.boog's original). I very pleased with the chorus lyrics, maybe I'll reuse some of that later on
Sounds like a fun challenge to me, If anyone want's to reuse parts from my remix they are free to do so.
Ha ha, i spotted a typo in the lyrics. "flushes" should be "blushes" of course, I can't believe that one made it all the way into the recording. This is precious, I'm keeping that one for sure.
that cheezy solo got lodged in my brain...the chorus of copa cabana was the only thing that could dislodge it......help....
I can not be held responsible for any damage or other effect this piece might cause. After all I did give you a fair warning :D
The cheeze is strong in this one. In fact a wouldn't be surprised if they can smell it down the street.
Made me smile, May even make it my ringtone.
