Thx, rest assured these

Thx, rest assured these tracks are made entirely in caustic. I have years of music backround and audio work etc... so this is another fun tool, probably the most fun in a portable platform.

Im really excited about a new update/version that may come down the pike in the future.

out of curiosity are you

out of curiosity are you using the drum machine or the pcmsynth to sequence your breaks?

Almost never drum machine...

Almost never drum machine... and heres why:
When i decimate a loop into individual parts to pattern my own beats, i use pcm synth to host it. This way I can globally affect the tempo via pitch change by cents if i want to go from 164 to 168 bpm. I can edit or alter each sample or part to do some things like ummmmmmm (secret reveal) 32note run for a pattern.
Also I can add filter mods and effects in pcm synth as well. I have three files that have decimated loops all synced to the same tempo. If i need to change tempo? I can tune it globally in pcmsynth so all the loop pats and sound change all together. Saves alot of hassle, you cant even dream of doing this one in drum machine.
Modern DnB music merely involves individual drum hits, where beatbox may be the proper tool for that. But using multiple snare hits and hats a.d ride cymbals from a loop chopped up and used at random gives a more natural sonic feel which i believe maintains the love for old school-made-new jungle today.
Oh yeah with pcmsynth you can alter a wide range of volume settngs for each note played in a pattern, not very flexable in beatbox.... at least for how i desire to use my sounds.......
rock on!

Thanks for the detailed

Thanks for the detailed response! I hadn't considered the cents idea to match to different bpms. Mostly I had just considered that a decimate beat might end up with more samples than could fit into the beatbox.

Great stuff, keep it up!

I have a few pcmsynth presets

I have a few pcmsynth presets loaded with seven or more decimated "kits" each "kit" having up to 10+ hits each....... all sync'd to same tempo, makes islt soooo easy to control

This is amazing stuff, man.

This is amazing stuff, man. Makes me think of Extreme-G on N64. Using PCMsynth for drums... not something I would have come up with on my own XD.
