"Her Period"

I wanted to capture all the terror and feelings of being alone & in danger in a cyclone of hate

Thanks you guys!  I must say, this is probably my favorite track I've done so far.  It started playing in my head about 2 weeks ago & came out sounding just like I imagined it  :)

Wow that’s impressive Andy, I could probably not keep a song idea in my head for more than a couple of hours. It a wonderful feeling when the result match your initial idea isn’t itwink. I love the dreamlike soundscape you created here.yes

I like being able to drop an idea outta my head onto something right away, where before I had to wait to get home to fire up the keyboards and computers to do it..... now I can sit down on my lunch break and drop down some scratchpad thoughts so I can remember and expand them later.....

I agree with AB, this is quickly becoming my fav track from you as well....

I think that's what makes

I think that's what makes Caustic such a perfect tool for creativity.  No matter where I am, I can instantly put down my ideas at the speed they come into my mind.  This song in particular would not have been possible for me without that portability/ instant interface.

For me it's more than a notepad too-  I use it as a standalone DAW, absolutely everything I've done is 100% Caustic generated between my laptop & phone (with exception of sample cutting).  I do have Reason 4.0 and Ableton Live 8, but I have yet to really go to work on either one.  Using Caustic is much simpler & more fun, and I have yet to find any real roadblocks to creativity in it.

Yeah that was the main purpose I downloaded this app. Even if the synths didn't sound as good as they do  it would probably be my favorite app anywaycool

The Rockstar fruit punch

The Rockstar fruit punch helped.  And there was some Ambien at work in the late night beat programming department.  But yeah, it's an awesome reward when a piece of art or music turns out just the way you envisioned it!  Rarely happens.  Thank you for listening & for your comments!  :)   -AB

Droid Flashlight is still my

Droid Flashlight is still my favorite app.  Second is that animated cat that purrs when you rub the screen, and THEN maybe Caustic.
