Question Loop Point Editor

I've got a question regarding the Loop Point Editor:

Is it possible that the files must have a certain lenght? I tried two files with each about 4 Minutes but it didn't matter where I marked the loop points and in which mode, it started always from the beginning and played about 20 Seconds...

The pcmsynth isn't intended

The pcmsynth isn't intended to be used with such long samples. Rej should be able to explain why. I'd link to another thread but I'm in a hurry :P

Ah, okay. I didn't intend to

Ah, okay. I didn't intend to use it as a sample, more as a background-track. That's why I choose such a length. But I found another solution.

What maximum lenght may the sample-files for the PCM-Synth have?

Yes, as Rej has said before..

Yes, as Rej has said before.... samples used for this app are intented for short length content only.... less than 24 seconds if I remember correctly, or the files may not load or function properly.

What I have done before, let's say for vocal tracks, is I chop it down into segments... and load each of the bits of the orginal tracks into PCMSynth and recreate your track from there.
