First Caustic track...this app is amazing...the dogs nuts. Can't believe for £2 ish you get so much power...by far the best music app on Android...repsect to the devs.
I've been messing with this for so long that I think I de-sensitized my hearing from the sound! Loved messing with the Bassline machines for the squelch...hours of fun. Great presets from the Caustic community and great expansion packs to download...great app.
p.s...can anyone tell me how to post a track correctly?
Soundcloud instructions are in the sticky at the top of this forum. The trouble is, if you simply paste the soundcloud link first, the editor converts it to a regular web link and you're hosed. You need to wrap it with the "[soundcloud ]" tag on the first attempt.
Anyway, great energy in this track. I take it from the track pic you're a fan of the Beasty Boys. The first music I ever owned as a kid was a Licence to ill cassette tape. This track definitely has some of that BBoys funk and playfulness.
it's nice to hear someone programming breaks, shades of Chemical Brothers I think too. Great stuff :D

Did you have the awsome boom box to go with that(Bass Bost :)? NO SLEEP TILL!!! The first finest use of the 808 I was introduced to with that album, will always hold a place in my heart.

Great track, excellent mix and full energy inside!
For a first track, you did very well.... Yes very energetic right in your face punch. Keep it up.
No, I got a cheapo knock-off dual deck for christmas as a combined "This is your xmas + birthday" present one year, but it had "high speed dubbing" so I was king of the neighborhood for a while. Used to run a long extension cord out to the yard so my friends and I could attempt some bad breakdance on an old laid-out cardbox box. Good times. Embarassing to think about now, but good times.
I know this is so OT from the track above (very nice by the way), but License to Ill was an Easter present along with Fat Boys, my mom had no Idea what she bought me. I was at my grandparents house playing it on the little tape deck with my uncle and they walked in and were horrified at what they bought me.
This was definitely my first elementary rebel album. The plane being a cigarette butt should have alerted my mom, but it didn't.

Thanks for all your comments. Chemical Brothers?...yes!
Thanks for comments. Its great that the dev takes time to listen and comment on tracks...legend! Yes I am a fan of the Beasties. Ill Communication is my fave album, Root Down my killer track. I was fortunate to see them live in 92 at The Reading Festival. They were outstanding. Very sad to lose MCA...Again thanks for comments and keep up the excellent work. :-)
very nice track, love the drums, good to gear some people making breakbeat on caustic, inspire me to make some more,
this track would have gone over well on the floor of the big beat boutique bad in 98 I reckon
ps, what did the Village People say when they heard one of the Beastie Boys had died? Y MCA?
great track!!

Hahaha that's funny cuz I had couple of those decks before.... I had a nice JVC.... used "metal grade" format cassettes because they had a very low noise floor for cassettes at the time.... My old rig had so many wires everywhere was crazy.... Multitracking in the 80's was a challenge, but fun.
