Caustic Song file (optional):
I posted this half way down a previous thread but just wanted to show an example of how to incorporate strings and orchestral percussion into Caustic 3 using a familiar tune. Check out the Caustic file.

Soooooo is this file different than the previous file?
my biggest issue with a genre as such as a classical genre. Is how do u structure such a piece. It's not a song. But part of a larger movement?
A song u tend two have your verse 1 chorus verse 2 double chorus bridge follow by 2 doubles choruses end of song.
or if intro. Less than a 20second intro. Verse if rap 16 bars for country or r'n-b it varies on how well the song is written. But a refain or a everlasting hook mixed and faded thru out song
And some songs bypass a bridge and..... what i'm gettin' at.
is the beast of how do u determine t he structure of a classical body of work? I know until it feels finish. But......
The score in GoT is fantastic. Nice cover

The caustic file is at the top of this thread. Go nuts.
Hi richsmith, Firstly thanks for the amazing rendistion of this theme, just superb! Also, providing the file itself has just enabled me to very quickly add 7 very nice sounding stringed pcm instruments to Caustic with little fuss at all. The Percussion, Stomps and Choir pcms are also very nice and will be making use of these in my next track.
Well done and keep up the good work.
I'm guilty of over-using those stomp sounds continually. Make everything sound enormous.
I, too, have a version of "Game of Thrones", but not quite as it should be.....

Thanks. You still owe me a remix of one of my tracks by the way.
That is really cool. I am a newbie so sorry if this is obvious, but where do you get the wavs for the PCM synth for something like this?
WOW! Very nice job!!! I'll definitely have to take a peek at that caustic file.
This song sounds awesome. Can I remix it to see what can I do?

I really enjoyed this. Taught me a lot about arranging in Caustic and is a fantastic version. Thanks.
This is simply amazing, i wish i had the knowledge to arrange something like this. Bravo!
It sounds almost exactly as the original. I shall enjoy messing with this.
