Hi - I'm a new user of Loopstack - it works great on my Star N8000 phone, but when I installed it on my work Galaxy S3 the functionality still works but I have a problem when saving a stack... I cannot see the text as I type the file name! Also when I try loading a saved stack I cannot see the file names to select. The files do exist because I can see them with file manager - but the file name seems to have a question mark appended at the beginning. i.e.
?myfirststack.loopstack
Apart from that I think this is a great fun app for jamming with my guitar - well worth the nominal fee!
I would like to see a small feature adding - a pause button would be nice...
Thanks!
Mr C
I've heard this from a few people now... I'll see if I can get my hands on a GS3 to test and I'll report back.
I managed to find one but it didn't have this bug. It was however, just updated to Jellybean (European version) so maybe there was a software fix included from samsung as well. I'm not sure what to make of this one...
Have you tried holding down backspace button for a little while? maybe there's some junk input in the filename buffer... Do you see the little blinking cursor where the cursor will write?
There's no blinking cursor (sorry about swearing) but if I hold the << backspace button down it appears and then it acts normally. Brilliant - I can live with that!
Thanks Rej!
Cool, ok. It's probably some uninitialized data in the filename. I can't find why this is happening from a quick look but there has to be a reason. Thanks for reporting back.
I have the very same problem, and I can't use the exported files. It worked once, name and exported files, but now nothing
@Danigochi: does pressing << (backspace) a few times not work?
Yes! That did it! thank you very much!!
However, I had to reload the "blank" file to get my recordings and, after that, "save" them again (doing the backspace thing). After that exporting and everything else worked fine.
Thanks :)
