I just recently joined. posted the first version of this song in the wrong part of the forum, and got let in on the way of the soundcloud. (though I cant navigate the app to save my life, managed to get my first cut added to the group, cant figure out how to do it again, lol) anywho. tried cleaning up and tricking out this first project of mine, not even sure if its worth putting much more time into. I just started learning about chord building, and am of course learning the app itself, so the two new projects im starting on already show more promise than the first go. but for what its worth... I give you cosmic giggle. laugh at it, dance to it, or maybe even give me some pointers. any feedback is appreciated =)

i think it's best to forget about trying to understand and navigate the soundcloud app. I'm using soundcloud the full desktop site (not the mobile site) on my phone (SGS2) without much problem. Trying to use the app gave me nightmares :(
soundcloud next won't properly load on my phone, had some trouble trying to switch back to classic but after five or ten attempts the menu pulled down completely to click "switch back to classic"
Its reassuring that I am not the only one confused by that app. Thanks for the feedback! Almost none of my friends listen to electronica of any sort, so its great to hear from others who enjoy the beep-bloop side of music.
Yeah if you're using mobile SC app, it is a tricky little dude to use..... Especially for uploading your song. I transfer my work to the desktop and do my thing there.
Brainstorming ideas for you..... Thicken up distortion effects in your BassLine, maybe Foldback type, and let it rip..... Crank it up and listen to the real nasty gritty tones you can get from it, you might just like it.
I will have to give foldback a try, I fell in love with overdrive hard, so I haven't messed with others much yet. On the soundcloud note, my samsung victory is my sole computer/studio, but Im running the desktop site in my backup heavylifting browser (boat) for whenever I am doing anything with my account. Uploading is easy enough, I just go through my file explorer and use soundclouds share option to send it right out of the export folder. Thanks for the tip, and if im not mistaken, I owe you thanks for the light compressor generated gating in the creepyish pad im throwing around in my next project (I have been reading backposts =) I can tell I will learn a lot of great tricks here.
