exporting stems lets you export individual tracks (synth machine channels ) to take into another DAW (most likely on a desktop -- Ableton, FLS, Cubase, Nuendo etc...)
I think it is still an option, but not for everyone to play with if they don't know what they're doing, I think it's why it wasn't listed earlier..... For most, it's irellivent at this point.
Wouldn't mind the ability to store and browse ext sd card so free up some memory on my device but not sure where to enter the code? Is it in the drum editor like the C-SFXR code?
I have problem with heavy automated songs. It lags as hell. What can i do? I choose open sl es , low, medium or high latency. It doesnt matter. Still hearing lag. Secret code for adjust GPU doesnt work on 3.2 beta 4. What can i do?
I made a thread here a few years back, that I still stand by today, in regards to device prep for a serious music project.
This involves turning off all device radios, internet, social media, and other apps you don't need at that time.
You also may have other apps that may be probing your phone continously and potentially harmful, but that is another thread elsewhere. I may research into this further and set up for a YT video to explain my theories and methods on this.
I run NO apps on my phone, except audio tools and what we do here.
My Nex9 tablet runs No apps as well, no social media, no email. And Caustic runs extraordinarily well, MIDI and roundtrip latency is <30ms.
It is possible, its the crap and clutter on most of these devices that are a hindrance.
Io non ho niente di attivo, a parte il bluetooth che uso in questo momento per le cuffie. Per quanto riguarda internet, sono connesso con il mio smartphone Vodafone 785. Di social network ho soudcloud che é attivo. Proverò a chiuderlo e vediamo.
Jason, maybe you are right. I will test your theory. But i think my phone is piece of trash. :-) ZTE Blade Q , came with postpaid contract for my cell. This April this contract expiring, so maybe i will renew it again and get new device. But im little short with money, so i guess nothing is gonna change. Same old piece of hardware. How to change GPU values in caustic? These Codes, seems like they not work.
BTW, Goccia Blu......why you keep posting texts on Italian? I honestly dont think anybody will answer you if you continue this way.
English isnt my native language. You dont speak it? Neither do i, but you must show respect and at least try to comunicate with others on English.
jankovic: Look at the CPU meter (little VU meter) next to the song name in the transport panel. If it goes into the red or comes close, that means your processor can't handle the load, simple as that. No GPU tweak can fix that I'm afraid. Mobile processors are very underpowered compared to desktop.
I know we discussed this earlier, but with all the new functions added on, I wanted to see if we now have the ability to store samples, .caustic files and stems/exports to an SD card. This would greatly help for those of us who need more than 16GB for their mobile music production needs, but don't want or can't afford a laptop.

We have that already. I keep the bulk of my projects and machine patches on the SD card of my Android tablet.
(The feature is pretty much useless on phones or Apple tablets, since they don't have SD card slots.)
You have to restart (more specifically, swipe the app out in multitasking and reopen it) for it to show up at all. If it still doesn't show up, there's been a mistake made and you should try again.

Maybe I was unclear about my querie..I wanted to know how to do all of that stuff directly to the SD card, not to the device. I figured once we had access to the SD card to pull our own samples and stuff from, we'd also have the ability to save directly to it, instead of moving it from the device to the card. It's just an added WOO HOO! to what it can already do IF it were possible. Thanx for answering, though.
Most of the beta codes have been activated permanently, the ones remaining are:
7397 - Show C-SFXR in sample editor tools
78367 - Enable experimental stem export
2679 - Copy demo files again incase they get deleted
76683477 - Allow browsing past "sdcard" root directory on Android. For getting to secondary storage.
5623XX - Set GPU stall value to XX milliseconds. Don't mess with this if you don't need to. Default is 17ms (562317)
Thanks. What was the one for changing the redraw speed (useful for running CPU heavy songs)?

Awesome. Thank you.

Hi edgey , i think its been implemented into 3.1 as default / proxy ! i guess ' lol
Most helpful!
How do you enter these codes
They aren't working with 3.1.0 rc2
I've gotten "the enable experimental stem export" but don't know what's it for???? And for the secondary storage... Idk what to look for!!!!

Very handy for remixing.

Why would you still be using a beta build?! I guess I need to stop releasing betas that don't expire...
rc2? wow you should really get the 3.1 OBR update, it has many many improvements over rc2 (lots of problems there when we were testing it)
I thought we could still adjust the CPU balancing value even though a default value was set by Rej.

ORB that's Official Release Build, you can update at the markets for your device.... Now ver. 3.1
Would you mind posting the first 4/5 numbers for the GPU code. I need to slow down my refresh rate to run some of the collaboration files.
Thanks

I'll update the first post to include the GPU throttle code
Great,
Thanks very much

Go to settings/ help/ about caustic/ tap on the word "Caustic" 6 times which will bring up the numpad then enter the code.

It may be your device allocated resources.

it is not a lack of respect, if I write so simply do not understand me.

I fixed the problem. ;-) Code 5623999 resolve all lags. :-) I sacrifice graphic smoothness but it is worth.

Check your had self !!

Thank you in advance for weighing in...
Especially when "those who need more than 16GB use an Xperia M4.... Only 4GB of internal storage..

Phones and tablets without an SD slot are pretty useless at all imo
They're useful as communication devices.
Yeah, like pagers. Dude I miss my Quix :)
Is the C-SFXR not available in iOS? I've entered the code but it does not show up when I open the sample editor.

This is useful but only 2 codes work.
Really loved that.
