Hi all, please can some one help me to do some hardcore kicks? like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOSZ6E3ZiHY Very very thanks for help,
You could sample the kick sound in the video into Caustic :)
Here if you copy the preset in this "song" into your presets should help
These are fab - I use them on quite a few tunes, they're great for techno/hardhouse
...and http://www.singlecellsoftware.com/node/5155 there's a BB kit full of Hardstyle kicks in the presets section above.
Black octopus. :O I encountered something like that today. I listened to the "leviathan pack song showcase" or whatever it is.
Some good tips how to make great music. http://www.traxtorm.com/?p=1343
THanks for tips but , I need make some modular multi distortion or what, to
distort 909s kick to 1000 others kicks :) :) :)
First off...to hardcore...you will need...to know which frequency to use as you progress making it with the mixer and you do that after a few EQ and Distort FX. After applying some extra effects you can move the knobs on the mixer. Probably have a dominant frequency on each mixed unit (instrument), like lots of bass a serious small dose of mid and really no high...then you go to another...choose a dominant again...bass or high...maybe mid this time...,but then the kinds you want are bass, bass, and BASS! But really it's not all bass...
EQ is "like" the same as the frequency knobs of the mixer and you have to find the maximum that your instrument can take...You will know if it is "dying" which is so hardcore :D...if it begins to spark...so you have to lower the EQ down of the certain area of frequency called HIGH if you like to and if that didn't work, then it's the EQ again...it is the curve being too raised...
Distortion is something i notice that adds that reverse bass feel...lower the distortion to reduce that...also when using distortion stuff...toggle the FX on and off. You will notice if it needs adjustment. Probably the EQ is too raised...then you might also want to lower the distortion when moving onto the next...MODULAR.... :D Yeah it's all about chains with this thing. But to get to the real deal...it probably takes something more...I don't know about what else it would take.
Decay unit or knob on the beatbox if you are using...909... XD.....will be the last thing you'd like to touch. These kicks probably sound bad when it is one strike only...so they sound better when they are a repeater...They're like a cutting machine...Oh so...uh chainsaw or whatever you like?
OK JUST WAIT...I got something for you...but I don't know if I messed it up...and I don't think I should keep at it on emulating haha.
...Ok...so...I guess I'll just throw it out now. It's not even good enough...because there is so many pathways XD...but I guess you appreciate a unique kick of thousands or infinite possibilities. '~'
Probably make a sample so it's going to take up 1 instrument...and good luck with the hardcore...
Ah, I forgot...You can also take the shreddin' bass and attach it to another strike. tok, whatever you want to call it...the head...
I'm still a learner...so any thumbs for me? XD
...Ah I just added a pattern 2 as well for fun.
HAha we got us a hardstylerr I got you bro what's ur email a dress I make some sick kikz ill send you one are you looking for a kick or a bass line I have both
Here you go I just made this for you
Yes,this is it ;) :) thanks for BIG help Duran95
hi here is a kick iam working on at the moment
Sometimes you'll get a more punchy nasty kick, if you back off the low end EQ before you run it through an overdrive/distortion module, then add the low end back in at the end.... resample, and enjoy
Thanks Jason. You just helped me create a disgustingly wonderful industrial sounding kick switch. I did what you said first and then with the sample that I brought into the BB I added Bitcrusher and then cut the mid and high from the second kick. Then in the pattern have the two kicks alternating. I'm totally enthused to start a new industrial song. So many still to finish lol.
winner winner chicken dinner
You can practice kick variations here. (Place notes on the beatbox.)
I set up a tune already.
A modification to Day-v's kick.
If you raise the KS Synth's "volume knob" up slowly, something explosive is bound to happen. Hard Electrical DROP with bombs! X.D..
The fun is so intense.
AND when you max the decay to 100% and set the pre filter to 0%
THEN set both octaves down to NEGATIVE SUB ZERO OR SOMETHING...You get.
Raging Electro lulz.
nice i made a little live automation for that.
Ok thanks for tips,This is my kicks
I make it in 180 bpm first
OK,now I know how make my lovely hardcore kicks :) its so easy. and sounds very good for me
Take 909kick from beatbox, add distortion in sample editor,
open pcm synth and loop good bass in wav edit(long press start)
and add distortion to effect
while some tweaking
and its done
Mind if I remix it?
