I have figured out how to create the tape stop effect. All you have to do is open up a PCM Synth and load up a small looped out exported part of the song and then turn the polyphony down to one and slip the note from the original tone and down to the lowest note and turn the mode to note on/off and BAM!!!! You have a tape stop effect.
Here is a video if u don't understand https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=L30Dde6X71U
Commenting to congratulate you on the video. I've subscribed. You should create a new post with links to all of your tutorials for people to watch (there have been a few people recently asking for tips).
Also, for future videos can I suggest you find a way to fix your camera and tablet in position so they are not waving around all the time. It'll make it look a whole lot more professional.

Cool. Thanks. Subscribed
Yeah I've been doing this for a while now! You don't have to export the song and reload it.
Actually yeah you do if you want to have the tape stop effect on the entire song unless you have every single sound on a synthesizer that can slip a note in that case you can't do it with a beatbox so if you have something with that there's no way to slip the entire thing you would have to do it without the beatox

that was a really creative idea. if you can, try to think of some more cool stuff to do with the pcmsynth.
The PCM is great for general resampling, if you have a few short musical stabs and you're running out of slots, you can export those little stabs, load them up into the PCM and free up machines. i.e. You have a modular that does a bleep stab and a subsynth that does a trance whoosh noise, just load those up into the PCM and you're using one machine instead of two. The problem with this is if you change the tempo of your track you need to resample the new versions.

Very nice and easy created effect! Thx 4 sharing!
Funny I just started implementing this technique a couple weeks ago!! It had been on my mind 4sum time, but due to obvious concern for the lack of authenticity, I hadn't undergone the experimentation/refining process til now, which I somewhat regret. As an artist, we shouldn't get caught up into the trends to where u lose ur own personal creative authenticity! After enacting/incorporating the concept, I came to realize if done properly, the sound can sound dope & reside in a class of it's own! I still wish vst's were a possibility on android, but as with other compact, concise platforms, if adequately dynamic, allow for a more creative outcome that can be lost in a myriad of options. I find myself preferring Caustic over other apps for the core creation phase due to this. But ya u can definitely do some other things to the sample to make it sound a little fuller of a tape stop; mess around & incorporate a modular unit & tweak it around! Right on guys, late.
I'll be interested. I want to know how to use it to froth milk.
