There are two different ways to transfer sound kits or sounds from FL Studios to caustic 3 .... the first way is to drag the sounds from the side of the sound kit area in FL Studios to the bar section and actually posted the sound wave up so you can see it then make sure it's in song mode and Export the file in a WAV file..... now, even though it is a WAV file already after you exported you still have to transfer it from the computer to your tablet or phone whichever you are using for your caustic 3 producing ..... once you get it into your tablet or phone into a file that you can find through caustic it won't come up because once you transfer the file it changed file types ...... but that's okay all you have to do is get a media converter application and convert all the files to a WAV file again then you can find them looking through caustic 3.
The second way to do it is to go into the sound kit files themselves and to transfer all of them manually over and then convert them into wav files each individually or you can go with the first one and you can get a bunch of sounds on one file and you can cut it out and paste it into whatever synthesizer you're trying to use.
If you have any troubles with understanding this you can go to the link that I posted and it will send you to a video on how to do it also if you don't know a good media converter app for Android just go on my Channel That's link to the video and just find the one that says importing outside audio for caustic 3 and it will show you multiple apps that I use for cutting WAV files and importing them into caustic 3.

What are FL Sound kits? I don't see that folder you navigated to in my installation.
I am aware that native FL .wavs are in a weird bitrate that won't open in Caustic without being converted. Is there not a PC based media converter that can convert multiple files quickly?
Transferring a .wav to Android changes the file type, really? (I am on iPad, can't test)
FL sound kits are a Fruity Loops production software on a computer... I'm pretty sure you've heard of FL Studios ..... and yes I'm sure there are some computer-based programs that convert files faster but I don't know any of them so I'm not going to put it out there like I do know any of them .... and I understand that you can't do a lot of that with an iPod that is why I don't use Apple products when it comes to caustic 3 and production software I only use Windows and Android..... sorry

Based upon your video, "Fl Soundkits" are not software, they are a collection of sound files. Those files are not included with the installation of FLStudio 12, so I don't know where you got them from or what you are referring to. I don't understand why you would publish tutorials on file conversion in such a manner without bothering to make sure you actually knew what you are talking about. You're pretty much just spewing a bunch of bad advice.
There can only be one or the other here.
1. you have a binary preset file that is DAW specific and cannot be extracted or read by any other program. IE A Caustic preset file, only real in the context of Caustic.
2. A zip archive that holds wav files AND a DAW specific binary preset, Caustic has no such file but FL probably does and this is what he is referring to.
3. A zip archive with just wav files that a DAW "says" is special but is just actually samples that get loaded in a sampler VST.
Anything from FL Studio kits has to be a wav, there is nothing special about this. The OP is obviously showing how to rip wav files from an archive FL Studio creates.
I worded what i was trying to say wrong.....i have a tutorial video on it cuz no one does....never heard of anyone transfering kits or daw sounds to caustic...... if u dont like the tip GREGSTULL ....then move on to another instead of trying correct every little thing about my video rather then seeing the bigger picture like mike....smh

Well, here we go again..... This thread and OP will go the way the other one did a month ago with another new user...... Tread carefully and consider your intentions..... There alot of "veterans" on this forum who know a thing or three about this project here with Caustic....
OP, efforts and resources are likely better spent focusing on what Caustic can do and what we can make with it instead of trying to rip someone else's content or creations (which may raise legal concerns taking protected content from another piece of software) and push it here.
Just a little bit of friendly advice. I've seen this happen too many times here...
I understand your concern but do understand that the sound kits that I am pulling from FL Studios is not only on FL you can get it on any production software it's just that program that I'm using to transfer the kits.... but thank you for the info I appreciate it
S. Fleks Entertainment
As I said, the "archive" of kits he shows in the video is not a part of the FL Studio version 12 installation.... So, I was wondering where he got them from, i.e. Is it an Image Line product or not?
I got all the soundkits from someone else who already had them...i dont know where tbey came from
S. Fleks Entertainment
Ok, from my perspective explaining how/where to download (or whatever) the soundkits would be an essential first step in your tutorial....
I would sure love to do that if I only knew how to do it myself like I said all the sound kits that I have on FL Studios I got from somebody else personally that I work with every single day so I don't know where they came from all I know is that if you have FL Studios and you're like me you just a guy who got a program with some sound kits on it from somebody else you can transfer those kids on the caustic that's all this was about everybody is making this a little bit more than its supposed to be
S. Fleks Entertainment
So you have a pirated version of FLStudio and felt it appropriate to publish a video showing off your amateur ability to copy and paste. Ok, good luck with that.
No it's not a pirated version I'm talking about all the sound kits.... he bought all the sound kits and now he gave them to me the..... FL Studios 12 point one is mine I paid for that cash through Google.... I'd really appreciate if people stop pressuring me over something stupid I was just trying to show something that no one else has shown on here before that's all..... people are really trying to put me down because I'm showing other people how to pull the files out and put them in the caustic you seriously treating me like I'm stupid or something..... these types of things were never explained to me before on this website ever in the Forum and it's actually pretty helpful for me so maybe it's helpful for other people just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to put me down go somewhere else with that

Ok folks, it appears that we are all swimming in a pool of apparant mis-understanding. I did a little digging, and am not seeing anything on SFE's part to push gigs of shady sounds on us or anything like that, like some others try to do; but yet sharing that he discovered a way to use his FLS sounds in Caustic.... Maybe the original presentation was perhaps confusing or rushed.
Here's what it boils down to, for us all moving forward. This community has exploded tremendously in the past two years alone, and we are now clearly a two-part category of users....
Categpry A users are ones that want a quick fix to grab as much sounds as they can to make their music and will forrage the internet for whatever freebies or anything they can get.... But in the end I notice are only able to pump out one minute beats and thats it. This category of users are consistantly unsatisfied, and will continue to push harder for even more samples and sounds while tfyi g to recruit more followers in efforts to gain a sense of achievement which eventually becomes frustrating.
Category B users will (either early on, or eventually) dig deep into the host app and truly learn of its capabilities, limitations, and potential, and set personal challenges to create their own sound, content, library etc.... They will share and collab and be willing to listen to others for guidance and learning. We are a very diverse group of amazing talent and skills, which is unlike any other forum I've ever been a part of.
So, if there is a moral to my sappy pathetic excuse of a pep speech here, is this: If you want to grow and thrive as an artist, musocian, producer or whatever your goal may be, be willing to put in a real effort to learn the platform of workstation you want to be the foundation of your music creation. Caustic is a very solid and powerful pocket music workstation that can do some amazing things, as I have demonstrated over the years here. Once one grasps that concept and methodology, will you then begin to feel at home with your new comminity, and growing skillsets, as gour abilities start to grow in ways you never thought possible. Then those thirty second beats and grooves start to grow into something bigger, amd personal satisfaction will become your motivation to move up from there, as you start to pursue your music dreams with a renewed perspective and passion.
But anyways.... what do I know about anything?
Ok, i do all my recording / sampling in FLStudio Edison audio editor and then transfer those sounds to make Beatbox and/ or PCMSYNTH presets. If anyone is actually interested in how, and can recommend me some screen capture software, I will make a tutorial and accept scrutiny.
I was simply just sharing what I had figured out regardless of the fact I'm the only one who found out how to do a tape stop effect with caustic 3..... and if you actually checked out my channel on YouTube you would see that I know more than just a basic user using caustic 3 I don't just pop out one minute beats that's for sure I've been using it for almost 3 years now every single day of my life I basically gave up video games to learn how to use caustic 3.... if anybody is a true fan it's me I have full on respect for caustic 3 and I vowed to only use this to make my music I don't even use FL Studios like that for Beats I just use it for a recording for the bigger Studio..... I'm even involved with beat battles out here in Las Vegas and I'm in the finals in December go ahead and look it up on Google... I'm also involved with the beat battles in Atlanta and I'm entered into the Space City beat battles in Houston and I'm only using caustic 3
