Don't forget that you can mix and match samples from different kits in Beatbox to create your own custom kits. At least you could before today .........
Unfortunately if you want to use sounds from one of the new self-contained Beatbox kits (like the ones Skarabee has posted) you will now have to use the Export .wav function and then place the resulting .wav file in the Samples folder before loading it into a Beatbox slot. (If I'm wrong about this please correct me somebody.)
Older Beatbox presets have their sample data in the Samples folder so you can still just load them straight into a Beatbox slot.
Yeah, I have to add the possibility of digging into beatbox files like "folders" to retain the old functionality. Having the files self-contained outweighed this disadvantange so I went ahead with it.
yeah...i was wondering if there's an easy way to extract the wavs from the self-contained presets too....

A killer feature for the wave editor.

I have to agree Rej, the advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages in this case.
One thing I can do for the Beatbox preset I made, is to put a Zip containing samples somewhere. Not on Dropbox because I could have need to full space in it for other files sharing, but in one of my website, like the Skalooper site.
What I'm finding really useful is picking up a couple of sounds from different kits. This saves me using another instrument slot. I can still do this easily with Skarrabees kits but only if the sounds I need are from an older kit.
