Caustic 2 not functioning with Asus transformer on ICS (Android 4.0)

I have used Caustic 2.0 with the Gingerbread and Honeycomb versions of the Android OS. When I upgrades to Ice Cream Sandwich, Caustic 2.0 installs okay and will launch. However, if I attempt to switch to another instrument, the screen freezes, the screen starts flickering , and the only buttons that work are the home button and the back button, which exits the program. Is there a patch to make Caustic work in the newest Android OS? Thanks for your hard work on this excellent composition tool.

Caustic works with Ice Cream Sandwich!

Before anyone could chime in, I figured out what was holding me back from using Caustic 2.0 with Android 4.0 (Ice cream Sandwich). I stumbled across a user having a similar problem with playing certain games in ICS, which was resolved by going into Settings and enabling start up tweaks, which in turn magically frees up enough memory for Caustic 2.0 to run glitch free. That may not make any sense to anyone, but I'm a happy camper!

I'm on a Viewsonic G Tablet running a custom ROM: Team DRH ICS. Caustic 2.0 has turned a novelty android tablet into serious composition tool.

Can anyone experiencing this

Can anyone experiencing this bug help me by installing "aLogCat" from the Play Store and running it right after the crash, then sending me the result via email (there's an option in the app's menu).

I'll remove the [SOLVED} from the title but I'll also change it to mention this one device as no other ICS device that I know of has this bug.

Confirmed for SGS2 running

Confirmed for SGS2 running ICS, no bug. Only an occasional crash when clicking new song or load song. Usually only my phone line is open, data connection severed, no Wifi or Bluetooth, and most of the time I clear memory in taskmanager before using Caustic. Not sure that'll help any for this though.

Actually I'm having the same problem on my Acer Iconia A500 running stock ICS as well. I'll run aLogCat for you too.

Ok, well thanks to

Ok, well thanks to coinoperatedbear's log's, it appears as though the graphics driver for tegra devices on ICS is leaking memory and causing this bug. There are countless threads about games having this problem with the exact same flickering. (Caustic uses the same rendering techniques as 3D games)

I'm still reading, but because it's a driver issue, the fix will most likely come when the device get an update... Still, I'll see if there's anything I can do to solve it on my end.

is there any estimate on when

is there any estimate on when this bug will be fixed. Caustic used to work great but now after I do a couple of things I get the screen flickering issue. I've been using caustic for months and this bug just started for me in the last couple of weeks. It has rendered caustic unusable for me. Is there anywhere I can download a previous version of caustic to see if that can fix my issue?

I'm using caustic on an asus transformer prime rooted and updated to the latest firmware.

There's no point going to an

There's no point going to an old version, Caustic hasn't changed since February, you could go back to v1.3, maybe it would happen less because it used less graphics memory, but I doubt you want c1 now. This bug came with an update from NVidia and they're aware of the issue. (This has been happening to lots of games as well). Your best bet until NVidia fix it is to reboot your device when it starts happening, as it's a memory leak and things will be reset on that end if you reboot.
