Installed Loopstack demo, however when trying to record a part I am only getting heavily distorted noise. The actual recorded sounds are still recognizable behind the noise - with much higher pitch and tempo though, as if played on fast forward. The microphone level indicator is always in red, even if no recording is in progress.
I followed the calibration procedure, tried to re-calibrate but to no avail. Restarted the phone (Motorola Droid Razr), still no effect.
Hi Martin, there's a bug with the Razr where Motorola have messed up the default "guaranteed" record mode (44KHz). From looking at workaround from other devs, I ran some test and have managed to get it running at 48KHz without distortion, so I might release a version with a "special case" handler for the Razr in the next version. I'm hoping to get that out next week.
Oh well. Thanks a lot, will be waiting eagerly for a fix.
When you release this fix???
I haven't because it didn''t work in all cases and Moto seems to have updated most devices to correct their bug since then. If you're stuill having this issue and you have paid for the app, let me know.
