So, here's the track I've been working on lately and the source of my wittering about resampling in the other forums.

I wanted to create some custom distorted breaks for this, and I think it works.

This is the first track I've done in caustic where I've used breakbeats. The distorted beat is made up of three different breaks overlayed with a kick drum in a beatbox, fed through heavy compression then saturated distortion.

I loaded the breaks into the beatbox and spent ages with my fat fingers setting the tune knob to get them to loop correctly. I did it this way as I wanted some aspect of the beat to be mono, and some stereo. So some of the beats are in two beatbox slots panned left and right with slightly different tune settings to get pseudo stereo width.
