I sampled all the notes on my guitar, a few chords and some taps and hammers.  

Doesn't sound great on it's own, but put distortion in the FX and it sounds pretty good.

Out of date?

When I tried to download your dredge guitar preset, it took about 10 minutes to download, which in itself is unusual because most other presets download in seconds, but when I opened it in the app, it says that I have an out of date vision of caustic. Did I do something wrong?

This preset is 46MB as I filled every single note.  That's why it takes so long to load.  Also if you use it in a song, it'll take longer than usual to save the song, and autosave is likely to mess up.  Do a manual save before exiting.   

This was made in caustic 3.1 so there should be no problems.  Are you running the Beta 3.2?  Have you got the latest version?

Rej may be able to fix it in the next release.  If you follow the instructions below it'll make his life easier.  

 

If you find a bug, please report it but be sure to read this quick guide to maximize the chances I can fix it:

  1. Create a new thread for each bug and describe the bug in the title.
  2. Don't post your bug in someone else's thread unless it adds information as to how to re-create their bug
  3. Provide basic info and reproduction steps for the bug, (fictitious) example:
  • New song
  • Add Modular
  • Place mixer 6-1
  • Switch to song mode
  • Press play
  • App Crashes

      Repro rate: 100% (100 means it happens al the time, estimate occurrence please)

      Platform: Android, PC

Of course you can always attach a file if you've got the bug trapped in a particular setup.
