Yeah so while not being pure Breakbeat, thought I would give it a little element of that, fused with a couple of other sounds, think the movement in this is not too shabby, though ha ha might get shot down in flames for my audacity...hope you's will get a kick out this...
Strollin' with Don Peyote - old school breakbeat Fusion type of thing
Like the saxophone dude........how'd you do that then?
Danny, cheers mate, there is no sax in this, not sure what you mean...hmm.. so I presume you don't mean the trumpet... there is a sample from one of Jason's Caustic packs which is a guitar based sound, which I used and then stuck a couple of fx on, and then run it through a mod which in turn had a couple of fx on. I did this twice....could that be what you mean?

Dude this is cool. Love the effects on the guitar. Got that real psychedelia feel to it. That trumpet rocks. And the breaks are just awesome. That little acid type ending, I really wanted it to break down into a chilled acid house section. This is like if Jools Holland's Hootenanny was around in the seventies, with Hendrix, Santana, The Doors and a time travelling Kevin Saunderson. Magic

Haha lol maybe it's a trumpet then? I'm not familiar with the style dude, it comes in at 1:17 for example. I've been looking for that type of sound for some house tracks?
Any idea what caustic pack dude think I've got most of them unless I've missed a couple.......also what preset did you use for the bass?
Thanks guys. appreciated your feedback
@ Alexei...hey hey now that would be some sort of show i'd like to see, yeah I did have a little thought about expanding that ending, but lost my nerve at the last minute
@Danny...the pack is the Builders Pro Demo Modellers, and that sound you've indicated is a trumpet preset, If I remember rightly I got of another user called Fish. There is 2 bass things going on 1 called fender bass in PCM and supplemented by a Mod preset. I have put up my caustic file, don't normally do this, just because no-one has ever asked for it, but maybe you can get the presets from it?...oh forgot to say its the latest Beta version

Hi Wellsley,
Great track, you always manage to get such a "live" sound. Whatever the opposite of canned and programmed is, that's what it is. I think it's your feel for the drums and percussion, actually. There's no denying that, conscious or not, you have jazz influences and this track was boppin'!

JH, thanks mate, that's really appreciated actually, I can't deny it, I love jazz, and although the guitar was my weapon of choice, I always had a hankerin to be a drummer, I love the drums, and have a real admiration for anyone who can play them with with a little bit of skill, and although I absolutely appreciate your comment, I do wonder what drummers think...lol...or maybe I don't want to hear, haha...

Ha, I know a few drummers and have always intended to do that with some of my tracks; play them and see what they think. Maybe, I haven't for the same reason, maybe I don't want to know. :-) BTW, at the open on that track you have a lead with wah effect, sounds like an organ. Sounds cool but it I wondered how that might sound with guitar and same wah.

Interesting, yeah could sound wicked. I sold all my guitar stuff, including guitars some years ago, and sice picking up Caustic and getting to know it a bit, I often have a little bit of a ponder on maybe buying another guitar and seeing with I could come up with...hmmm, maybe one day I might...lol...

Okay, first off as a person who puts breaks above all, must say, you captured the essence free flow break expression. Seamlessly weaving between your patterns. Awesome, next as mentioned before, this live feel you have been able to create is refreshing. And unique, as Alexei said, dont ever loose your nerve man. Youre doing great work here. And LifeUp....yeah Dat trumpet doe! Well done!

@AZ... I really like comments you make, I usually end up finding out about some musician or band i hadn't heard of, now I always like to give a listen, especially as you reckon a track of mine reminds you of this. I had a listen to "you've been spiked, excellent, now there is a musician I can get on board with, thanks so much for the comparrison it's an great compliment

In fact I would love to rerub!?

How come it won't let me import the file. I can download but when it directs me into caustic it's telling me that I need to update but I've already have 3.1? was this done with the beta?
yes this was made in the latest beta version, if you go to reg's caustic testing thread you will be able to download it

I had it but it was causing way to many issueswith my device and didn't want to deal with it.
You think it would just let me have the loop region on the beatbox?
Hmm, well the drums were made in the PCM machine for one thing, but don't think any of that matters, as you can't upload the file until you either figure out how to deal with the issues on your device or wait until the official release of 3.2. I don't know any other way to get this?
