Hello Caustic warriors
I wonder if it is possible to recreate the sound with Caustic?
And if possible with which synth? What settings?
If not perhaps someone can tell me what synth it comes, I would look for the PCM preset.
Thanks

Easy. It's a lowpass filter opening up on a supersaw. If you're on the beta, you can use the sawsynth, if you're not. Just set up a modular, put 5 waveform gets. Set all to saw, detune them all slightly apart and then route them all to the vintage lp and control it with an envelope with high attack and high release. Make sure u know how to use the modular. Maybe you do idk :) good luck.

You may look at this file. There's a similar pad in the break. It's from the padsynth. Good luck!

Jason's is the best I think but in needs a little more filter attack and it's pretty much the same :P

@EKT: thank you for the file, you have made great tech house song here.
@Jason: thank you for the preset. This is much more than what I expected, Your advice is always precious.

The little secret with Rej's SawSynth, is for the thickest layering, is to set the Stereo Spread to mono, and add a Stereo Chorus IFX module and spread your spacial animation there, adding a Stereo Delay with moderate wetness and limited feedback, really opens up for thick pad sounds in the SawSynth. Really reminds me of playing around with the old JP8000 back in the day....
Fun times
