If you have 4 min to kill. Track in progress. Must be listened with lot of bass ^^
I hate the end ... 2:44 until the end ... must find something better.
The 303 base is the Bassline machine, it's "modeled" after the TB-303 which started out as an actual imitation for a real bass guitar fill until drugged out techno musicians started staring at the knobs and then twisted them as hours passed from their lives.
Well .... no my bass line is not the 303, it's a sf2. But i have a track "bassline", it's the first sound you listen, there is an effect so it's not really my "official" bass line ^^
Nice idea on the subsynths. I assume you are putting each just a tiny bit out of tune with each other? That should give it a nice fat bass sound I'd think.
Explanation in French for Mr. Zicman, I happen to be french-canadian ;-)
Yep, 2 Subsynth
the first is louder and 1 octave more than the 2nd (not a real octave, a subsynth have 2 wave, i only change 1 of the 2 wave's octave). But 90% of notes are the same.
I like the sound but i have worked on it too much and now i can't bear my song ... and i hate the end, i don't find for the moment :(
:) I try to translate in french, so ... this song is good but i should forget it ? ... and an album o_O, if i have inspiration, if my songs are finished, if there are not too bad, if i have more than 3 songs .... there are a lot of "IF" :)
And what are green spot ?
Keep on going Zicman, considering its your first few tracks you are doing well.
To stop boredom i normally work on a few tracks at a time.Remember to give your ears a break!
I find that if I spend too much time on one song, I get burned out and wanna just give up on it. Right now on my ChillBlue project (the big one) I am currently working on 7 different tracks, that I switch from song to song, working on each one seperately. Helps keep my mind fresh and sometimes an idea pops up.
This is especially true for those who sit down to master a track (we're talking big consoles or DAW -- Steinburg Cubase Nuendo WaveLab etc....)
Pace yourself and you will get good results. Good stuff takes time and will be worth the wait for the rest of us who want to hear each others Caustic Generated Grooves.
Very good. 2 same subsynths to get a big sound is a good idea, tried it with handclaps (beat pattern), also because I wanted to play with echo on only the handclaps.
Sweet drum and synth sound! Are you abusing the 303 bass synths in this?
Thx but sorry, what is the 303 bass synths !?
1 PCsynth is guitar+disto (name : saber 5thes 3rds).
1 PCsynth is bassguitar (name : electric bass)
2 subsynth are near and almost the same notes. The 2 same subsytnth allow me to have a big sound.
1 bassline
1 drum, always the same :) ODMX ..... but i need more bassssssssss

He's just saying you should move on to the next song and keep getting even better. If you look at one thing too long, you can get tired of it.
Oups sorry, yep good idea. Maybe with Caustic 3 i'll have new things to do on this song.
