GregStull's Muted Glock was a perfect opportunity to do just that..... nice recording! SM-57's rock for stuff like this
Add some thick Stereo Delay and Reverb (loong tail) Distortion Block mode: Saturation knobs pre=3:00 post=9:00 gain=to taste

Very cool. I have another kit that I was thinking about sampling with a different mallet, different mic, and without the muting... so I'll go ahead and do that when time permits.
