Is there a way to control the input source in the modular to turn off and on thru automation? If not is there a way to copy a machine? Lords knows that's a lot of back and forth if there isn't
Turn on and off automation in Caustic? Not that I know. Can you copy notes from a machine and paste it in another? Yes, you can. You can even copy/paste notes and automation from 1 song to another.
No that's not what I'm talking about. I've created a modular setting that I like and then I tested it with some input from the saw synth. But then I started toggling the on off button on the input source and I like it to. That's why I was wanting to automate the input source button and if not possible then to copy the machine
i mean if u not sure what 3.1 does with similar wraparounds.
my person is not not saying its exactly there in the video.
but if u gonna question my comment as advice and just tell someone of something what it is u want and don't want as they don't know
ln u sound very knowledgeable of what feature u asking for.

p.s. u can't have 2 teachers teaching the same student up a mountain
the self has two quiet down so a teacher could teach or advice could be givin' if u know.... then why is your cup overflowing???? do u know?

Derrti, why even reply when you admit you don't know what you're talking about?
As far as I am aware, On/Off toggles cannot be automated. My preference is to toggle MachineInput's signal level at that point, without touching the mixer channel (I try not to touch those unless it is a last minute adjustment when I am fully confident in my mix otherwise)
there is.
should i assume with your question. u have watched any tutorials on youtube correct??
Is there an answer in your comment?

You can automate the level on the back of the machine input effectively switching it on an off, its a bit cludgy but should work fine.

It looks like I'm going to have to manually rebuild another modular with same design minus the input

^^^^^Jason advises you right and also you can copy machines as mentioned, simply save said machine as a preset.

hmm
The arpeggiator has an on/off toggle that can be animated.
I suggested, a month or two ago, that the "send notes" button be moved flipside & toggle placed front side. That is, all on the modular input module.

Animating the volume level slowly should help.
