A demo for the Caustic Sessions. The song start and ends with the same pattern. If anyone want to append something to this one or start a new session, here are the explanations and the Caustic files: https://sites.google.com/site/thecausticsessions/home
Hope you will like this example and want to participate. Welcome to all CausticWarriors!
Lozange 1.0 (with one section)
Lozange 2.0 (two sections, new ending pattern)
Check your email..... lemme know if I did it right for this project...
Ok, I listenend to your version. You get it, well almost. I think my explanations were not so good.
The thing is to append something new (with new patterns and new sounds if available) at the end of the song, living the first section untouched. The pattern is a sort of link between the two sections, and this quiet space can be used to alter the automation in a drastic way if needed for the next section. If you want to start something completely different with a new set of sound, then use the Starter file, it contains only the synth pattern (the one with two phasers;-)
Actually, this track was not intended to be continued in the same file, because it already use all the slots, leaving not much place to add new material. That's why I provided a Starter file.
Oh I think I see... The new files are merely individual renditions from thd starter file right? Ok, I can go back and grab the starter file and try again later. Its all good.
Cool thing though, is I can read your "sonic characteristic footprint" I learned a few new things from your perspective this weekend. You know your stuff, Ill say that. So far your idea for this project is already bearing fruit... at least for me. Thx....J
A good example is better than my poorEnglish. I added a new section to Lozange. (Update in the frst post.)
Now the song finish with a new pattern, a simple 4 notes sequence played on Subsynth. This can be used to start a new Session, under a new name. So for now we have2 starters (one PCMsynth pattern=Lozange) and the new Subsynth pattern, called Elipse. One can continue to work after Lozange 2.0, or start again a new Lozange Session, or begin a Elipse section, starting from the Subsynth pattern. All the stuff is available on the Caustic Sessions site.
Hope this is clear and more people will be involved.
I tried adding some stuff to the "Vanguard" starter file.
I think some of it may be usable, let me know what you think if you have a minute to listen...
Thank you for this new Open session. Cool! For sure it's usable. Could you upload the Caustic file please? If you're Ok, I will put this on the Sessions page, and extract the last pattern to make a new Starter file.
Rules on the CausticSession site are updated. For now, in order to clarify the work, each player must use only one bank of pattern, A for the first, then B, C, D for the followers. This will give us 4 sections in a Seesion file. Should be enough to start

I think this is a much more interesting starter file than the ending of that stuff though

Thank you Gregstull !
I added your Vanguard section to the page (made a rough mix for it)
I also put your Jawharp pattern (reduced to one machine) as a Starter.

Will have a look on both this WE. Funny things came in mind listening to your Jawharp stuff.
*The JawHarp should be credited to Les Zvon.
Done on the Session page. Did you listen to the mix of your section? I think it will be refined after the next sections.
