I made 2 songs in the free time I have managed to accumulate, both very distinguishable genres. They are both quite stress relieving I find during the mid crisis of all our exams though :P Which is probably why I made them... actually I just freaking love caustic, that's why!
Please tell me what you think! :D
caustic files here:
Pulsar: http://www.mediafire.com/download/n8qx01s9q2qzpyr/PULSAR.caustic
Shady groove: http://www.mediafire.com/download/wcafyxzmq5e8ire/SHADEY_GROOVE.caustic
Really good both of them.
Good work on both tracks. Reallly like Shady Groove and this amazing chord change in the second part. It made me take my guitar to jam on it.
Excellent work and creativity on both of your tracks! This is a huge step up for you in your work with this app.
Well done sir
Utterly utterly brilliant. Your melodies, techniques and mixing is awe inspiring. Makes me feel like a bumbling amateur by comparison! ;o)
Well done!
Would love to check out the caustic file for Pulsar, sounds so professional, love it! (Especially the building filter sweeps)
My Soundcloud
Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it
@skarabee I figured a key change would be cool, glad you noticed
that sounds really cool! :D
@bojeroo I'm glad you think so! Your songs are actually really cool though, especially some of your synth techniques
@danSeb thanks! I'll update the first post with the caustic files :) here they are aswell:

Thanks very much for those mniip. On 'Pulsar' you've got some amazing trance sounds out of the 3 Subsynths, I must admit I'm not very good at creating sounds with this synth, and always reach for PCMSynth presets instead, I'll go back to Subsynth and have another play after listening to this though!
I'm blown away by the amount of automation going on throughout, there's orange boxes everywhere! I particularly like the automation on the strings solo / build up, coupled with the side chain compression which provides such a dynamic changing sound as the strings build, very nice indeed

Thanks DanSeb. Yeah the subsynth is incredibly useful for getting the perfect tone. you really can appreciate the waveform editor which multpiplies the possibilities by practically infinity... you'll be amazed at what is possible in all that sonic goodness.
Yes automation is incredibly useful for transitions between sections and adding final touches to your sounds. I will probably spend half my time configuring it.
Hell yeah, Shady Groove is lush

I just want to say man, this is freaking great. You obviously have listened to older trance music and are not getting caught up in the hype of having 16 saws on a synth.
I have been listening to trance for longer than you have been alive and I am proud of this for sure, great job.
Since you donated the caustic file, I am using this song to harvest patterns and patch settings for my upcoming groovebox app.
Freaking well done, (whatever your name is in real life).
Mike
PS I am remixing this and will post something within the next week, we will see if you like it. I'm going to add some 90's, I can't guarantee it will all be in caustic since I use hardware sequencers mostly. :)
Both of these are your best so far, and that's saying a lot.
@Bibidribait Nice to see you feel the groove, thanks!
@Mike Wow! That's really cool! thanks so much! I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing the groovebox in action and seeing your remix! :D
@Astrotrance Thanks man! I'm glad you think so :)
I can't get the Pulsar track outta my head. Very nice work. I downloaded the ogg file and have it on repeat right now.
Would love to see a shot of the effects and mixer screen (tried to download the .caustic file, but it's not working for me. Stupid firewall!).

Both tunes are class but Shadey is a top tune. Well done !
Any chance to have one of these great tracks for an eventual compilation? http://www.singlecellsoftware.com/node/1654
Sweet Tracks! Where'd you get these sounds from? The Tabla, Synth, etc...
