How do I go about getting synths and basslines along the lineage s of a song like runaway from grum?
Care to elaborate on that question, as it appears to be missing a key element to your inquery?
Okay, the question relates to the tune 'Runaway' by Grum. I would guess that 'Lineage s' = 'lines' after some rather unhelpful auto-correct
Found it on youtube - very modern/retro 80's Daft Punk ish sound with disco stabs. Sounds mainly electronic i.e not made from loops/samples.

Jason, if you give it a whirl maybe you could suggest a bass sound, sounds like it could be achieved in the subsynth or PCM synth fairly easily.
The stabs are actually slightly reminiscent of Obsession by Animotion.

I just listened to it.... I may already have presets that sound just like the arp'ing bass synth sound, and a few other sounds as well.... Let me dig into my stuff I find them...
