Hey guys, still can't figure out how to post my tracks on here...it must be my limited IQ!...if someone could explain to me how to link my soundcloud track I would be very grateful...track is called Extra Curriculur Antics if that helps
God I'm thick...
you have to type the widget code by hand on this forum
" (left sqaure bracket) Soundcloud:http://soundcloud.com/nick-jaffa-kemp/extra-curricular-antics (right square bracket) "
FORKBOY's TRACK:
Very nice solid groove BTW... I like it...
and thanks for your comment...can't believe I was duped by a pair of [ ]. Thanks for your help. ;)
ill try my best to explain
i start with this. [soundcloud:
then i copy my link after that
then add the end bracket.
important that you delete the "s" in https
so that it reads [soundcloud:http://soundcloud.com/ the rest of your song link here then the end bracket.
i hope that helps.
Cheers danjbob...cant believe I havent been able to work it out but it makes sense now...I'm sure your advice will pay off...we will see in the next 4 weeks when I post my next track but I will mark this post for reference!...and thanks for the Black Octopus Monster Kicks advice...way cool pack...:)
your very welcome
nice track btw.
loving it, I'm sucker for 303's. LIke the buzzy, trancey lead saw sound too. I'll have to explore Vocality properly, a really great tool to personalise tracks that little bit more.

I have had a request from Rej to create a forum post that is somewhat like a preset except its for show and tell and you will enter a souncloud url in the form item along with an optional .caustic file to be hosted on this site.
Then, forever forward we will never see a thread like this again,
Mike
This sounds nice, it a pain to post a song right now even if you know how its done. The optional .caustic file sounds great to. Will these files be uploaded to the community or do we need to provide a host for them ourselves?
Well there will be a link to the file on the forum post, and the .caustic file will be hosted on this site.
I plan on some major improvements to the site with presets, songs etc in the coming months, so you will just have to wait and see what comes of that.
Mike
i was wondering this also thanks for advice.
On listening to this again, my kick sounds flabby and lacking energy. Just can't get that right...back to school for Kick 101 I think. :(
Just to clarify on the posting template Michael and I have been discussing.
You'll still need to host your audio on Soundcloud for embedding, but the optional source file (.caustic) will be hosted here.
Nice track this, love the 303!
