Hey Deeplow
Thank you so very much for your kind words :)
I love it..
Impressed and seduced..
And jealous..
Wow...incredible! If I don't stop listening to your tunes, I might give up on trying to make my own haha.
Hey Opus
Please do not be jealous, you too can play like this after many , many , many hundreds of hours practicing LOL
Thank you so very much though for your sweet comment.
Jo
Hey UncleAfx
Thanks so very much for your amazing comment and support. DONT give up making music because of me, i couldnot take the guilt. ;)
Jo
Nah not for the foreseeable future anyway. I wouldn't know what to do.:)
Ahahahah we are very alike. I would be lost without making music of some sort. :-)
I'm not really a Jazz lover but this surprised me.
If I didn't know better - I would not think caustic was involved. Very organic feel.

How did this one slip through my net. So I love jazz, and like previous comments, can't quite believe this was created in Caustic, you have the caustic file here so I will have to have a look. This is so accomplished, if this is the type of music played in said club, i would love to visit there ( if it is still running ). How did you get that sax like that?? It sounds great! But all the instruments are really authentic, fantastic track, really well done

Oh my God, your tracks are always so amazing. I always love this bass, this drum set. And once again he hit the sax. Incredibly incredible.
Amazing track - never expected to hear something like this produced with Caustic - just demonstrates the potential of the app and that is not limited to pure electronic music
Jamming on 114bpm
EKT - I knew i would lure at least one person into the JAZZ SIDE :) I love all forms of music, but jazz has a special hold on me every now and again.
Most people who listen to my tracks can not believe they are made on a "PHONE APP" . I don't think they understand the computing power inside of some of todays technology. Given a wonderful piece of software like Caustic and you pretty much can do anything on them.
Wellsley - I forgive you :-) SO HAPPY to find another person with a passion for Jazz also. The Reduta club is still there in Prague and maybe one day maybe i will be given the chance to play there. I could just sneak in , slide on over to the piano and and play. I would hope they would'nt throw me out. LOL. I pay a lot of attention to my instrument sounds. The PCM module is such a great module , but i like to shape the sounds with the fx modules. I added some distortion fx to the SAX to make it a little more GROWLY . The Piano i use allllllll the time , but with added FX you can change its nature to suit.
SICCOR - Huge thanx my friend for your wonderful enthusiastic comments. I am sooooooo happy you enjoy it.
Marcmalone - Thanx for dropping by to listen and taking the time to comment. You are absolutely right about the potential of Caustic. With careful use and imagination you can produce just about any kind of music. Check out my other tracks to see also what can be done with it :) :) :)
Just a reminder, maybe. . Caustic doesn't play music.. the human who uses caustic does, and because of that, he is called "musician".. A guitar doesn't play blues, rock, folk, classical.. nor does the piano.. the guitarist and the pianiste do..
Katia Labeque, a well known classical pianiste, played jazz rock tunes on piano and fairlight synthesizer with John MC Laughlin in the early 1980s.. With the same piano, she uses to play classical music..
Before that, George Duke was using mini moog, and so did Herbie Hancock, and they were not playing trace or dubstep, but jazz..
And Walter Wendy Carlos had a record called "Switch éd on Bach" where the same minimoog was used to play J. S. Bach.. I mean classical music..
So.. yes.. Caustic can be used to play jazz music.. surprised ??
For the rest, I too like a lot Jojo's tracks.. And theuros jazz atmosphère. .I wish I had his level of playing technique, and his understanding of music and harmonies.. And I hope to hear more tracks from him soon, they belong to the world I like, where I feel at home..
And as usual.. Enjoy the sun..
Thierry
Hey Opus ;-)
You mention a few of my heros in your comments :-) HERBIE HANCOCK = LEGEND
Thank you so very much for your wonderful support and very kind comments on my skill levels . I do a LOT of practice on my piano.I also learn a HUGE amount about composition from the web. There are many very wonderful resources available free to all if you know what you look for. I watched a whole series of videos on youtube by a very wonderful American music teacher who taught me more in a few videos than i am learning at school for years. LOL She is BRILLIANT . I will put some links to her videos in the correct place here.
