Hey all,
The Lil Drum Machine has a new release on Google Play for the demo and full version.
The most interesting feature for Caustic users is the Export loops as PCMSynth preset. The drum machine will take all your existing loops, export them to seamless wav loops and then create a single PCMSynth preset that maps all those loops into the machine.
Once the loops are loaded, fire up Caustic and load the preset. Then sequence our your rhythms or fills you created in the Lil Drum Machine on top of your existing track.
The other notable addition is the multi-sample load screen. This screen lets you preview wav files in the browser while being able to load to any of the 12 channels on the same screen.
The app is now full immersive mode as well.

Content Packs
I have also spent the last 8 weeks creating content packs for Caustic on Play. Any of the Beatbox Content Packs contain 64 samples each that can easily be loaded into the drum machine with the multi-sample browser.

you did it! Congrats, man.
Thanks Jason, this was a feature release and fixed some bugs.
I have no idea if it be worth your time, so I apologize if this a stupid noob question... Could you bundle the app with all your (sound design) kits into an iOS version for $20?
Hey,
No it's not a stupid question at all. I is possible to make an iOS version. There are some factors that affect my descision right now.
1. I have never made an iOS app.
2. The iOS market is HUGE and I just cannot see an ROI with the time it would take me to learn iOS dev right now.
3. The iOS file system is totally restricted and I do a lot with the file system which means some of my cross platform file operations where I write into a public directory might need refactoring.
4. Due to the fact I am using Caustic as the core audio, there is no sync which I am sure people would just complain like they do even with the Android version.
BTW, what sound design kits are you talking about, the 37 I have on Play? Or the ones that come with the drum machine?
I have ecommerce on my site, I am just getting products together that are bundles and they will be for sale using Paypal and then instant file download access from the user account.
