Actually the wierd thing was, all these different elements came together and in the back of my mind I was thinking... This sounds familiar... A friend thought the drums were identical to breathe by prodigy. The falling daaarreahahahh noise was 'borrowed' from part of the new blade runner sound track featured on a trailer, which by some weird coincidence had a bassline like and upside down blue monday, so not du dum du dum but dum du dum du, high then low not low then high... But then I overlaid a low high bassline with a glitchy bass and phasered the crap out of it... Which sounded just lovely...
Oh yeah... My point... Is that yes, it sounds splooshy, but the sploosh factor was never a thing.. it just kinda happened... And then I might have played on it a bit... 'coz that watery rhythm is just catchy!
This is definitely a soundtrack-worthy, opening credits for action/thriller, type sound. Very well done. I enjoyed the very "live", sharp drum track with the snappy snare in contrast to some of the other spacier sounds.
Very nice, I really liked the bassline and all those synths flying around:) That drum fill really sounds like the one in Breathe, that was my first thought as well;)
I'm getting an Ozric's / Eat Static vibe.
Nice work - lots of interesting noises and burbling synths.

Just giving it another listen and that's definitely some top-notch burbles.

Yeah, there might have been a subtle splooshy feel without obvious and blatant plagiarism
