FWIW, the upper right Octave and Semis control the time for a cycle round trip.

Other than that play around and the visual feedback will help understand what each WG does.

And if you come up with some cool variations please share! (Thanks skarabee, any relation to Canadian Samantha Bee? Bees scare me more than I skarabee)

When putting this mod together I had a basic idea in mind, and ended up with this thing, it's not an example of good design practice. Still needs work, probably inefficient in places too. Kinda cool though.

What it 'seems' to do is layered AM, kinda like the FMsynth but with different sideband harmonics for one thing.

The bottom WG controls the basic waveshape and pitch. The other 2 kinda surf the main wave and have varying influence. The upper WG seems to be slightly more enharmonic as you put it into higher octave ranges.

Watching the included example should explain at least a few things.

The Sub Oscillater upper left is inverting the waveform at whatever rate you set it which alters the harmonic balance.

The slight adjustment to the Cents of the middle WG sounds cool but I set it to show the influence of the contrasting waves pushing thru the main wave shape towards the right. If you center it, well, should be clear. The upper harmonics clean up substantially so generally it actually sounds better, just not as visually demonstrative of the role each WG plays. Make sure to play it again afterwards, centered (double clicking on it centers it for those not familiar).

It seems to float between AM and RM and have some PWM as well.

This is a fairly simple example, the combinations possible with adjusting the marked wave and octave knobs alone are pretty varied.

There are some other things going on with the polarity and pan etc. being modulated by the upper WG that I *think* adds to the pos while maybe sub from the neg so you see a simultaneous up push a pulse or two apart but I'm not positive. Or negative. Overused pun sorry. Please feel free to point out where I may be off base, still trying to learn, and once inverted polarity and stuff starts modifying other stuff I probably don't see everything that's going on, how it interacts. Advice always welcome.
