Hi,
Been using Caustic for a few years now, but only recently began to get serious about it.
I am wondering if the Caustic file format is documented somewhere and if it is accessible.
I would like to be able to edit certain aspects of automation, instrument settings, etc programatically, or at least more consistently.
Thanks!
Not that I'm aware of, Mike and Rej are probably the only people who know it.

You can edit Caustic files with a hex editor - people have done this to fix corrupted files but there's no published schema.
Caustic is not open source.

No.
Hi, and thanks for the replies.
I am fully aware that Caustic is not open source. When I discovered Caustic 2.1 (I believe it was), it was what motivated me to make my first ever app purchase, and to this day remains the absolute best purchase I have ever made.
I am very grateful to @rej for making Caustic :-)
Anyway, thanks again for the replies - I'll give the hex editor a try and maybe I'll figure something out! :-)
Cheers,
/dlk
